SOURCE: ran yesturday, tried today no fuel in lines, or pressure in rail, fuel pump not activating

Check the fuel pump fuse and relay under the hood in the fuse panel. If both fuse and relay are good then fuel pump may be at fault, but it seems too new for a fuel pump replacement. Hope this helps. Keep me posted please. Good luck

SOURCE: no voltage going to new fuel pump

The GRAY wire i believe going to the fuel pump is the hot wire it should come on for 2 seconds with just the key in the on position this is were you should check voltage for 2 seconds then it will go away until you crank the truck.Your oil sending unit is behind your distributor that could be the cause .

No fuel and no spark. What's wrong?

Umm.. it could be a crankshaft sensor at fault.

You say that you are getting no fuel - but are you 100% positive? The easiest way to check is by disconnecting the fuel line where it enters the engine bay and switching the ignition on. Fuel should literally spray out of the line.

A fuel pump only supply fuel on demand - it is not running constantly. If you switch the ignition on you may hear the fuel pump kick in and then stop. That's because when the engine isn't running the pump cuts out. Switch the ignition on. Can you hear the pump kick in and then cut out?

A faulty crankshaft sensor can cause the problems you describe and to be quite honest, it's difficult to see a connection between no spark and no fuel. I'm loathe to suggest a faulty ignition module.

Rather than waste time and money replacing parts in the hope of curing the problem, can you get somebody to do a diagnostic check with an OBD? There may be a fault code - an error code - that will point you in the right direction

03 suburban ,p0300 , car wont start and didnt hear the fuel pump kick on so replaced the fuel pump and filter . still wont start . checked fuel pressure and no pressure , checked at fuel filter , no...

Hopefully you checked the fuse and relay for the fuel pump before spending the money to replace those items. If you're not hearing the fuel pump kick on, you aren't going to have pressure. P0300 is a misfire code that was probably stored due to the engine failing to start since there was no fuel pressure.
Check that there is 12V at the fuel pump if you can't hear it. You will need to have someone turn on the key because the power to the pump only stays on for a few seconds unless the engine is started immediately. This allows it to prime the fuel line. Once you have confirmed that there is power to the pump, check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail to rule out a pressure regulator problem.

Fuel pump not priming 2004 suburban

are you shure the pump is working,? Take the fuel line off,To see if there is fuel comeing up to the engine, When you have it off kick it over quicky to see if fuel is comeing out of the line, If not the fuel pump regulator might be at falt, Or the fuel pump it self has gave up the (Goat) end quit working,

Blazer has no fuel pressure but pump kicks on

In the past I have seen fuel pumps that would run on the bench but wouldn't work in the gas tank. Sometimes you can bang on the gas tank and get the pump to start working, the problem is usually bad brushes. In the past I have cut open an electric fuel pump, those little brushes were wore down to the nub.
If you have good voltage and ground at the fuel pump and no pump action, suspect the fuel pump. Fuel filter is good, I didn't look to see if inline fuel filter? Fuel lines aren't clogged? Don't disconnect any fuel lines unless your sure, no fuel pressure.

Not getting gas

You need to make sure your fuel pump is working. You should hear kick on after you turn the key for a second or two. The fuel goes from the pump to the filter, from the filter to the gas lines, from the lines to the engine and injectors. Make sure the filter is not clogged. Make sure none of your lines are pinched. Check for fuel to the injectors. Check your fuel pump fuse/relay and reset button, if equipped.

Engine wont start like gas isnt reaching engine could water pump be frozen

No. More then likely, you have an issue with gas or spark. That is what the engine needs to be able to start. Check to see if your fuel pump is kicking on. You should hear it kick on when you turn the key. You should hear a buzzing for a second or two. I have the manual on this car. Let me know if you hear it. Write me back.
