Check/replace under hood motor relay. Spend the extra $2 and get the fisher part. Do not even bother with NAPA junk.

My plow wont angle or lift


Did you try angling in both directions? If the blade is angled all the way to one side (most likely to the LEFT), it could be that the valves are stuck directing fluid in that specific direction. Check that you are getting power to your "B" solenoid when you are trying to lift the blade, and power to the "C" solenoid when you are trying to angle in one direction but not the other.

There solinoids on pump. Check wiring and grounds. Make sure all small wires are intact and in good condition. But most likely there's a loose corroded or green wire causing issue

When i try to lift or angle my plow all i get is a clicking sound when i push the lift button and when i let up on the button the moter on the hydrolic unit will click but will not move the plow. minute...


Not familiar with model, but valves click at the same time motor is suppose to run. Check power and ground to motor (or try running it with jumper cables, but don't be where plow can angle and squish you. If good power but won't spin, clean brushes/commutator/check bearings in motor.

Engine removal


There is a device that you can put on the hook and there are too chains down to the lifting points of the engine The hook point can be screwed back and forth allowing the engine to tilt down at the back and the angle achieved will allow the engine to clear any problems . You can achieve an angle of lift up to 60 degrees safely. When refitting the engine as you put the engine in as you lower the engine you can alter the angle to glide it in and up to the gear box flange perfectly

Why do my cv joints keep breaking on my 01 chevy 1500 w/3" body lift and a 6" suspension lift?


A buddy of mine was having that occur on his jeep that he lifted & he warned me that I should watch out for it on my lifted truck. The problem is the new angle that the driveshaft is versus the angle of the differential. Picture how the driveshaft used to go straight into the differential before it was lifted. Now the driveshaft & the differential are at a strained angle. The only way to resolve the issue is to find a way to rotate the angle of the differential to be in line with the driveshaft. Not an easy fix. Sorry.

Any ideas how I fix my height adjustment on a 02 vectra will only go up not down


you need to change the motor. back of the head light there is a black part sticking out with a plug on it this makes the light beam move up or down unplug the wire and turn the unit motor anti-clockwise. until lose and just out of the hole and then try to lift it off the locator in the light this bit is hard some times as the locator can come off the head light inside you need to get an angle on it so the inside lifts up so you can pull out. fitting is more easyer just put some greas on the ball end of the motor part and fit in the hole push and turn to lock in it will click and then its fitted.

Hi Billy,

Pinion angle is the angle between the differential yoke and the driveshaft. Wedge shims are designed to roll the differential up in the front (when you do a lift) to REDUCE this angle and make the driveshaft STRAIGHTER to the differential yoke. If your vibration is caused by pinion angle, removing the shims will make it WORSE.

I have no clue what you are saying about having the differential "wrapped up". If it is tilted upward to make the pinion angle straighter, this is what you WANT to REDUCE vibration.

If you did not change the length of your drive shaft, you are likely having a problem with your slip-yoke being bottomed out. - A whole other can of worms...

This is the problem with installing lift kits and the reason that I neither recommend them nor install them.

My '99 93 saab conert top wont go down. i hear the motor running, but the back doesnt lift up to allow the storage compartment to open. the sid reads check soft top storage...which i did.


most likely the top pistons start to leak and the motor can create enough pressure to actually lift the top back to go in the storage area... i would let the tonuea cover lift open then get out the car and look around to see for fluid residue.. if not and there are no leaks.. possible the seals in the pump it self has gone out.. and the motor is still trying to pump... the pump and motor is located behind the rear seat under the small plastic panel/.

My front power windows dont roll back up and i already replaced the circut breaker what can i do to roll them back up


You will need to replace the window motors. Let me know if you need further info or feeling like doing the procedure

Locate crankshaft position/crank angle sensor


The crank posistion sensor is located on the top of the transmission bell housing right next to the motor, its a @$^&^ to get to and do without a lift,
