What is the remedy if my hi ace is still overheating ! My piston ring is 0.75 then my liner and piston is 0.50?

Check water pump/coolant pump. If more than 100 thousand Km, the fins may have eroded enough to not move coolant through engine adequately.

How do i cancel timing belt warning light on TOYOTA prado LJ 120 R

Don't know if it is the same as a 100 series landcruiser and only do it if the belt has been replaced. This is how to do it on a 100 series. Make sure the trip/odometer is set to "ODO". Switch ign off. While perssing the ODO button, turn the ign on and hold the button for 8 seconds, release the button and press it again within 5 seconds. Now in the TBelt mode each time you press the trip button you will increase the Km's by 10,000. Once you get "15" displayed (150,000km), press and hold the trip button for more than 5 seconds. All should be good.

How to turn off the timing belt light of a 3L engine

Have you replaced the timing belt? The warning light is a maintenance item that shouldn't be ignored. 60k is the average life span of a timing belt and if ignored and belt breaks you're in full a "wallet full" of repairs. Replace if you haven't, then have Toyota or service place reset the light. That's one light you shouldn't ignore.

How do I reset the computers timing belt information in a Toyota 2007 4.7L (VIN T, 5th digit, 2UZFE eng, 8 cyl) after making a timing belt change?

1. T-BELT MODE DISPLAY
a) With ignition turned ON, using the trip switch (select/reset button) change the display to ODO, and turn the ignition OFF
b) While pressing the trip switch, turn the ignition switch ON and hold it for 5 seconds.
c) Release the trip switch, then press the switch again within 5 seconds.
d) The digital display should change to T-belt mode. The initial display "15" (0,000km) is displayed (ie. 150,000km).

2. REWRITING REPLACEMENT VALUES
While in the T-Belt mode, each press of the trip switch will change the displayed value by 10,000km increments. Once " 20 " (200,000km) is reached the display reverts back to " 1 " (10,000km) again. Remember, this setting is the number of kilometres to be travelled before the light comes on next, and once reset this counter will start from zero.
I believe the timing belt interval for all the 100 series engine variants is 150,000km, but this should be checked against each different markets servicing recommendation. This being the case, you shouldn't need to change from the default setting of "15".
Obviously for the US, the ODO is in miles, and I guess the T-Belt warning would be set in 10,000 mile intervals.

3. T-BELT WARNING RESET COMPLETION
a) After setting the replacement setting value, hold the trip switch ON for more than 5 seconds then release the switch.
b) Check that the display has now changed back to ODO and that the warning light has gone off when the engine is started.
NOTE: If the T-Belt mode is completed, even though the belt replacement has not been performed, the T-Belt warning IS reset.

Toyota Land Cruiser check timimg Belt

Hi,

I am assuming that you have a series 80 diesel engine and that it has run for about 100,000 kms hence the warning light and the changing of the timing belt. Based on the instructions of its repair manual you need to "remove the grommet off from the speedometer and turn off the lamp by pushing the warning light reset switch, then replace the grommet." Alternately, you can try to reset the entire computer of the vehicle by removing the battery cables for a couple of minutes. Pls note that some car radios/head units would revert to security default (ask for a code) when power is completely removed.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
