This could be the water pump or a hose. If you can see under the car, check for fluid near the front of the engine. If it is there, it is most likely the water pump.

2002pt cruiser have changed all 3motor mounts and the transmission out put sensor still will not shift out of first gear

Shift solenoid problem , your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop an have it diagnosed . This is more then likely an electronic problem . Have diagnostic scan tool hooked up , check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes .

Were is the egr value local on 2002pt cruise

Buying a Chilton/Haynes repair manual for your make/model/year would be one of the best investments you could make. It will tell you where the EGR valve is and how to replace it. These repair manuals also have the diagnostic codes. Your vehicle would use the OBD-II code reader.

Jeep Cherokee stopped and leaked water and will not start

water, is it clear or green or to be more accurate.
is the water on the ground (its on ground right?) same color
as the engine coolant.????????
my guess is you overheated engine. (never drive leaking or overheating or unlimited engine damage can happen)

or it lost water and overheated.
1: check all fuses.
2: is the CEL lamp glowing key on, if not , it will not start, (lamp good)

btw2: make sure coolant is 50% Antifreeze at all times. or worse will happen.

Changed thermostst and heater hose, car ran fine but leaked on right side of engine (Freeze Plug) now car stopped running while driving and wont start

sounds like the frost plug(freeze plug)let go and needs to be replaced. may have overheated the motor and it stopped due to overheating, as you say it was running and then just stopped and won`t start. just so you know the right side of the motor is the side facing the radiator as the pulleys face the drivers side. this is how a tech differentiates left from right on a Honda. fill with the proper anti-freeze and water mixture. this is all the help I can give you with the information you have supplied.

fuses first
remove all right side lamps X2 (some outside usa have 4 )
now put in , just 1 new lamp. does it work?
the this 1 new lamp in all locations Right.
yes, then one of the others was shorted. or all 2 or 4 were bad.
no, then check right side wiring (1 blink wire color for shorts or opens)
if the wires are good the combo switch is bad or it s connector.
using a voltmeter makes it far more easier.
12v good (at blink moment) 0v bad, 6v shorted.

1997 DeVille: the car is overheating...

The most common overheating problem with the Northstar engine is a blocked purge line(small hose). The purge line is designed to purge air out of the cooling system.
There is a small diameter hose coming from near the top of the coolant tank (not the cap) ,this is the purge line.
With the engine idling, pull the purge line from the tank,if there is no coolant flow from this small hose,it is blocked and this will cause overheating.
If the hose is clear, check for blockage at the nipple on the tank.Or trace the hose back until you find the blockage.
The hose goes in to the engine to a crossover and comes out the other side close to the thermostat housing, the blockage may be there.

I keep having problems with left front caliper and rotor have replaced twice in one year

mcdevito75 here, Believe it or not your problem may be on the right side, if the right side caliper and or Rotor are not working right it could cause the left side to work harder and thus waer down faster. Have your local shop check it out. If you do your own work check out the right sde brakes.
