Yes. Water pump seal is leaking. The weep hole keeps the water from getting to the bearing in the water pump.

Weep hole leak usually means water pump is leaking and often due to bad bearings and seal.

Water leaking from front of oil pan

Very likely coming from the weep hole in the water pump, and dribbling down front of engine.
The weep hole is usually on the hidden side (back) of water punp and not easily seen. follow the trickle.
When water pump begins to leak like that, it means the bearing are wearing, and the seal is giving out as consequense. It will steadliy get worse. Verify the source of leak and replace the water pump if indicated..

Overheating, small water leak don't know where it is leaking could be water pump

Water pump has a small 'weep' hole that is probably leaking-an internal seal is now leaking though this weep hole and the only fix it to replace the water pump.

Water pump is leaking through weep hole or thermostat is stuck closed

If water is coming out the weep hole it means the seal is bad. You may be able to get just the seal. the thermostat needs to be changed.

Leak next to water pump through a hole can it be plugged ?

I think your talking about the weep hole.
When the seal fails this is where the water starts to leak.
You could try to plug it but the leak would come out the front snout and get on the drive belt, causing slippage and fling antifreeze on things

Slow Leak in Water Pump-1999 Plymouth Voyager

What's probably happening is the weep hole on the water pump is leaking water. The weep hole is a warning sign that the water pump needs replaced. You don't have any heat because the impeller in the water pump is no longer circulating water.

Water pump leak at weep hole

This means the inner water pump seal has failed and you will continue to loose coolant. It has probably failed because the water pump bearings are worn and now the shaft is loose. You will need to replace the water pump.

No, what you're seeing is the weep hole leaking on the water pump. This is the warning sign that the water pump is worn out. Don't use any stop leak or anything to attempt to stop it. You'll be waisting your time. You'll have to replace water pump at this point.
