2004 Kia Optima. New battery keeps going dead.

2004 Kia Optima. Under 40,000 miles and with a new battery installed after 3 to 5 days the battery will go dead. I've checked for any lights on and or any thing else but can't find anything that is drawing current. Any ideas where to look?

Did the test and with the pos battery disconnected and it still ran. Started checking the fuses under the hood by pulling out the each individual fuse and checking for current flow across the fuse terminals. Found 1 with 20 amp fuse with .55 amps flowing. It was the ATM relay. Is the relay bad, a short or?????????
    Thanks for your help.

Newer cars don't test that way properly. If you have DVOM, read batt voltage w/engine OFF, start car check batt voltage again, turn on lights, ac, as much stuff as you can check voltage under a load it should put out almost 14.5 volts and then taper off after battery gets charged.

Could be a blown head gasket. You may need another engine but a used engine installed should not cost more than the car is worth.

2004 Kia Optima ,if doesn't start, and is not battery or cables, then what?

hi.if the engine is not roaring whenever you try to start your car then you might have a dead battery there. Try to replace the battery first if same thing will happen then this could be a faulty ignition assembly. Instead of buying a new battery try to recharge the battery first at any battery recharging station.
