Question about 2005 Acura MDX
Sounds like (no pun) it is the alarm system going off. After installing the battery try using the key fob to deactivate the system.

I would check to see if this is a relay problem for the horn. Remove the relay for the horn and see if you can swap it with another to confirm it is bad. If with another relay it doesn't stay on you no it was just a relay so go get a new one. The only other thing could be a security issue and when you discharged the power by unhooking battery the vehicle is acting like it has been broken into. But i would say it's a relay problem. factory alarm will sound when you reconnect battery, have remote handy and press the unlock button when you make the connection

you have a immobilisor problem thats for sure but does this vehicle have a extra alrm system or is the factory one ,is their a light flashing on the dash if so use the key in drivers door lock and lock and unlock the door three times then jump in and try to start within 15 secs

Check wiring for any melting, cuts or damage. This kind of problem occurs when some part of the loom has been damaged, exposing some open wiring crossing circuits.
