Sounds like you need to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop , or you better try and explain the problem better .

2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer I6 suddenly began overheating at idle. Parts replaced within the last 2 months: Fan clutch, Tstat, radiator, radiator cap

How about the water pump ? Who replaced the parts ? A qualified repair shop ? Were codes checked ?
The PCM controls the electro-viscous fan clutch engagement. The PCM regulates a 12-volt pulse width modulated signal (PWM) to the cooling fan relay. The PWM signal determines the ON time of the relay. As the commanded state of the fan clutch increases, so does the ON time of the relay. This ON time directly effects the amount of time the solenoid, which is internal to the fan clutch, is energized. When the solenoid in the fan clutch is energized, it opens the spring loaded valve and allows fluid to flow from the storage chamber to the fluid coupling of the cooling fan clutch, increasing the fan speed. When the solenoid is de-energized, the spring loaded valve closes, and blocks the path of the fluid to the fluid coupling of the fan clutch, reducing fan speed.
The fan has the ability to create a feedback signal, so the PCM has an actual fan speed input. This is done with a hall effect sensor internal to the fan clutch. The PCM supplies a 5-volt reference and a low reference to the hall effect sensor. The hall effect sensor returns a signal pulse through the cooling fan speed signal circuit in response to the relucktor track passing by the magnetic field of the hall effect sensor.
Was electrical tested before fan clutch was replaced !

Cruise control not working

Check cruise control cable under hood is tight enough to pull throttle arm.
Check brake pedal . see if wires to cruise control are still attached to switch on brake pedal.
Check magnets are still on drive shaft if rear wheel drive.
Check hall effect transducer is still in place to dedect magnets spinning on drive shaft.
Check Vacuum tubing is ok on cruise control it pulls the cable in and out .
Check if ignition sensing that wire is connected that senses ignition pulses ( front wheel Drive)
Check if a speed sender device is used on speedo cable to create pulse (front wheel drive ) sometimes used to sense speed on some cruise controls.
Check wiring around plugs and sockets under bonnet.

Does my 1996 honda accord have a vehicle speed sensor

most old cars have a speedo cable.
is the odometer dead too. (we need that answer now)

there are 3 class evolutionary systems.
cable
electric sender to cluster
and sender to PCM and PCM drives cluster.
but honda does this on diffr, dates than most cars. (i learned)

so lets do that. we login to alldata.com and look , so can you at any time,
once a month i do random cars.
what engine, sometimes this varies by engine, and trans.
neither stated so Ill toss coin each time.
a/t trans.
1996
has electronic (hall) speed sensor VSS and runs
engine, cruise. odometer and cluster.

the 96 has no speedo cable, and works in modern mode, very advance for this time
also any scan tool on earth fits the PCM scan port
and if VSS is dead, it tells you that with a DTC , vss dead.
saving all that work wondering why it dont work.
see/?
PCM must see it work
and cluster
and cruise
if only cluster fails, and both speedo and odometer then its bad.
if only speedo fails but not odometer , then speedo meter is bad.
its that easy.

I want to know the purpose of the Hall sender together with the Impulse rotor on Audi A4 cars. Can a car run normally without these parts?

The rotor passes through the Hall Effect sensor when the engine is turning. Each time the rotor passes throught the Hall Effect it sends a signal to the ignition module telling it which cylinder to fire. The vehicle will not run with these parts removed.

Hello, i we got a 1996 2,0 ltr with speedoproblems, doesn t work, i have repleased the sender unit at the trans, still doesn t work. Can you give me some advise?

there is another speed sensor for the speedo that is made into the speedo head and or the odometer inside of the car in the dash......but if i were you i would take it to a known good honest garage or to the dealer to have it checked out so you do not keep putting parts on and spending money and the car is still not fixed......they can hook a scan tppl up to the car and see if the computer is seeing a speed signal to the computer from the transmission and can go from that point to make a diagnostic determination of what is the most likely problem....you have to remember if they are wrong the part that they put on and it does not fix the problem they have to take it back off and start all over and you have not wasted your money...........i hope this will help and if i can help you any further let me know....if you could let me and fixya know if i was able to help you and a thumbs up it would be appreciated........thanks..........

No spark or fuel on my 92vw golf

check voltage to both coil and hall sender. should get battery voltage across two outer terminals on hall sender. battery voltage at black wire on coil. should get 5volts[pulsing] out put on center wire on hall sender. if input voltage ok but out put not, hall sender faulty. coil and fuel pump need an engine speed signal to activate.

Speedo works intermitantly drops to zero milage disappears

The VSS is a hall effect switch. It is nothing more than a magnet that is close to a series of gaps on a rotating portion of the trans. Every time a high point passes through the magnetic field, it creates a pulse that the computer reads. The computer then calculates the MPH. Remove the VSS and clean it first before getting a new one. If that does not work, replace it.

Hope this helps

Broken speedometer on 1997 ford explorer

does your cruise control work? If not, check the wiring from the VSS to the speedo cluster. Check VSS connector closely for pin pudhout or corrosion

Sometimes, the VSS siganl is converted by the instrument cluster and sent to the PCM and speedo.

Check engine light on?

Speedometer
The electronic speedometer (17255) receives a speed signal from the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) (9E731). This sensor is also used to sense vehicle speed for the engine management system and to regulate the cruise control when equipped.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Vehicle Speed Sensor The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) (Figure 53) is a variable reluctance or Hall-effect type sensor that generates a waveform with a frequency that is proportional to the speed of the vehicle. If the vehicle is moving at a relatively low velocity, the sensor produces a signal with a low frequency. As the vehicle velocity increases, the sensor generates a signal with a higher frequency. The PCM uses the frequency signal generated by the VSS (and other inputs) to control such parameters as fuel injection, ignition control, transmission/transaxle shift scheduling and torque converter clutch scheduling.

Speedometer don,t work

Depending on whether your speedo is mechanical (uses a cable), or electronic (uses an electrical wire to carry the signal from the sender), I would look it (what's in between the speedo and trans speed sender) before replacing the instrument panel. A good service manual that includes a dash wiring diagram should help trouble shoot this problem.
Good luck.
