2000 Chrysler 300M. Gauges and controls not working

I have a 2000 Chrysler 300M. This morning after leaving the ignition switch in the ON/RUN position for about 15 minutes, the cluster gauges, climate controls, Day/Night Mirror, overhead console display, sunroof controls, will not work any longer. How can I fix this? a blown fuse??, Thank you in advance.

How about if you disconnect the battery for 10 sec and reconnet. if no fix look for blown fuse under the hood look also near the steering column for more fuses

Chrysler 300M p1391 code misfires when hot.

From research Chrysler is having a lot of this same problem. If it were another vehicle I would say it's either ignition module or pickup coils going bad. Some vehicles have had problems with wires to pickup coils (Hall effect coils) getting hot and shorting due bad wire insulation. One cause is oil or dirt getting on pickup coils, cam position sensor, also if cam is worn and moving any that will affect the gap between sensor and cam. You didn't say how many miles were on the car.

Unlock Instructions ignition for Chrysler 300M

This happened with my 2000 Ford Focus. To Unlock the ignition, put the car key in, and hit it gently with a hammer. The ignition tumbler will lock again when you take out the key, so have a hammer handy if you go somewhere :P.It happened to me on November 7th, the tow truck driver came, did this, and started the with no problems.

2000 Chrysler 300M - Iddles irradically after it first starts, then runs fine after a while, however the check engine warnig indicator is always on now. Any ideas on what to check? Thank you in...

I'll try to help you out. First, try and get the check engine light codes. You can do this yourself in the car.

With the car off:

Put the key in the ignition.

Turn it to the "ON" position (don't crank), then off, on, off on.

Then leave it in the ON position, and a code should come up in the odometer reading.

You should complete the cycle in under 5 seconds.

If you can update me on the code I could tell you what it means.

My 2000. Chrysler. 300M. Is still misfiring. After changing all ignition coils and spark plugs, what a possibl solution

Did you have the ignition controll module checked? It is what the coils strap to. If part of it is bad it will cause a misfire. You can remove it take it to your local parts stor and have them check it for you. Good luck!

We have a 2003 chrysler 300m. Shut car off this morning and now key will not turn ignition switch

You might try turning your steering wheel back and forth and maybe changing your tilt while trying to turn the key. It sounds like your steering wheel lock is stuck which is common. Sometimes it just takes playing with it to get it to turn. Another problem that causes this is the gear selector not being in the right spot causing it not to let the ignition turn. Hope this helps and good luck!

My sunroof quit working in my 2000 Chrysler 300M

First check the fuses, then locate the switch and use a test light to see if the switch has power and ground. If power is going out of the switch to the roof motor and it does not work it is probably bad.
