I have a 2011 captive. So far I've had two flat batteries because the indicator light does turn off after I turn the car off. Is this a fault with is car?

SOURCE: Audi A6 (2004 estate) - installed a recharged battery and the signal/indicators stay lit, even when the car is driving, off and or locked. Is it an alarm reset issue?

Not familiar with your car, but, modern cars with computers don't take kindly to removing the battery. You should ALWAYS put a temporary battery across the posts to maintain the computer settings.
I suspect you'll have to go back to an agent to rectify this.

SOURCE: have indicator lights on all round the car. hazards off and indicator switch in neutral and flasher unit pulled out and keys not in ignition

If you have an older car(early 90's) replace the head light switch. After that replace the turn signal switch.

My vehicle security indicator light is on? my car wont turn on but everything works it just wont turn on? what can i do? i have a 2011 dodge caliber

You need the security system scanned for faults that will indicate the reason you are locked out. This means either a well equipped shop that has the right scanner for the computer or the dealer, your choice.

What's wrong with my 2011 Ford Escape?

There is something wrong or those indicators would not light up. You need the system scanned to see what might be going on. Also this may be a problem Ford is aware of and they have published a technical bulletin on it or a possible recall., contact the dealer for more info..

When shift indicator light blinks off transmission miss shifts

The light indicates a fault has occurred in the transmission or the electronic control sensors and actuators. You need the dealer to scan the transmission control module (TCM) to see what fault code is stored and then based on that code perform diagnostics and repair the transmission.

Its suppose to be a warning light but is not always the case.It depends on how far or long you drive it after the warning light comes on.

How to reset 2011 toyota highlander low tire light

2011 Toyota Highlander. Had no luck finding the reset switch, HOWEVER, the warning indicator also includes the SPARE tire (there is a BT sensor in the valve stem which operators on a tiny battery which signals to the car as well). We had filled the 4 vehicle tires properly, and was still showing the tire pressure warning. Researched it and saw the SPARE is include with this monitoring system for the vehicle. Checked and filled the spare, the warning indicator turned off.

Hi there; I've just started getting a "parking

The most basic check for this is - is your battery up to 100% efficiency. the handbrake module is notorious for faults with low voltage or voltage dips. Next is to check that the brake pads and cables are free and in good condition (pads not worn too far down) as these can cause fault indications. The fact that the park-brake still works and does not jam on or off would indicate that the major components are still working and may just need some attention and recalibrating. T o try a recalibration of the park brake - disconnect your battery for 10 Min's (make sure you have your radio code as this will be needed on reconnect) when battery reconnected follow the instructions on your driver display panel and see if this improves your problem. hope this helps - good luck.

Why is there a green light with a S blinking off and on and with a beep? Why is the battery light still on when i replace the battery?

Contrary to popular belief, the battery light does not tell you if your battery is any good or not.

What it does do is indicate if the cars charging system is working. If the charging system is not working the battery will go flat quite quickly and that is why the indicator light has a battery on it as it is informing you that if you don't get the alternator fixed, you battery will go flat.

So, the light is indicating a fault with your cars charging system.....check the fanbelt it on and OK?

If fanbelt is OK then the fault is more than likely inside your alternator and should be checked byu putting a voltmeter on your battery terminals with the engine should get at least 13v and up to 14.5v when you increase engine RPM when you have load on the system (headlights on, wipers on, blower fan on)

If you get a reading other than above, then best to take it to the garage to get it fixed/replaced.
