Thermostat is usually located at or near the top of the engine in a housing to which the top radiator hose is connected.

Some engines have the thermostat pushed into the top hose and secured with a hose clip, though it is many years since I have seen that type.

A few fairly modern engines have the thermostat mounted at the back of the water pump.

I need to change my turning signal fuse in a 2000 mercury sable but cannot locate the fuse relay. Can anyone tell me where it is located. I have no turning signals right now!

For 2000 Mercury Sable 3.0L EFI DOHC 6cyl the Flasher is located on front seating area, driver side, under dash, mounted in junction block.

Passenger compartment fuse panel
The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Remove the panel cover to access the fuses. To remove a fuse use the fuse puller tool provided on the fuse panel cover. I suggtes check the next positions...

Hope this helps (remember to rate and comment this).

Where is the thermostat location on my 1997 mercury sable?

Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine to where it's held on with the hose clamp. The hose is clamped to the thermostat housing. Remove that housing to reveal the thermostat.
