Check the dampers on the other vents where the evaporator is for the a/c. those are usually controlled by vaccuum. look for a vaccuum leak if they are vaccuum controlled. most are.

Neutral safety switch

If the Stratus is a manual transmission, you're looking for the clutch safety switch located on the clutch pedal near the firewall; if it's an automatic transmission, the neutral safety switch is located on the transmission...probably an oblong, 3-wire connector.

Hi,
OHMs readings can be taken with leads in either direction. Usually OHMs readings on a car system are taken at the 2K (2000 ohms) or 200 ohms setting on your meter.

2004 stratus power windows stuck in up possition

NO COST and fast PROCEDURE TO FIX IT, if just one window stuck:

1. Sit in vehicle, on seat next to problematic window
2. Ignition key is on
3. Door in question is opened (in case you closed it)
4. While door is open, press and hold power window button in desired window travel, keep button pressed !!
5. SLAM hard the door closed with one hand while other hand holds button as per #4.
6. Watch window operate as it should.

7. Repeat 3-6 if necessary, but usually the first try works!

Trying to install an astra 600 car alarm into a 04 dodge stratus

I called dodge local service dealer and ask the chief mech. He said the lock unlock switch had two resistors, Lock was 7200 ohms and the unlock had a 620 ohm both going to the PCU (computer) with an reduced 12 voltage supply to the CPU the CPU looks at the amount of reduced and will energize the lock or unlock Solenoid. added the resisters to each solenoid lock 7200 ohm and unlock 620 ohm on the ASTRA 600 alarm output to the CPU. works OK.
Thanks for your Interest in my problem.

How to replace power window switch on 2005 subaru, outback, driver side

The Haynes service manual (#89101) shows the window switch panel is only retained by tensioners that are part of the panel and that the method of removal is to carefully pry the entire panel out of its mounting hole. Once the panel is clear of its home, the switch appears to also be only pressed into the panel seat. I think you will find that the switch has 'quick disconnect' connectors that will pull off and plug onto the new switch.

I suggest you purchase a Haynes Repair Manual 1995-2005 edition. It will walk you through the ignition cylinder replacement process. You can purchase these at most auto parts stores for around 19.95

96 Jeep Cherokee headlights go on and off after being on a while.

It sounds like the relay switch is weak or going bad. It gets power and then stays closed giving 12V to the lights. Try replacing the relay.
