Question about Daewoo Cars & Trucks

My Daewoo Cielo cut out after 200km trip. When trying to restart it fires now and then. Waited 10-15 min and started, engine running smoothly but it cut out after 5km again.

Those reactions are often caused by the cooling system sensors sending out the wrong signals. It could be a million things but that is a very popular one. Is your cooling system & heating up to par?

Lost key for Daewoo Cielo 1996


Have a locksmith make you a new key or replace the lock barrel with a new set of keys.Try contacting the dealer and state the vin number of the car and they may be able to check records for the key code to cut new keys.

sounds like an o2 sensor, but the first thing you need to do is have the engin code read at your local autozone this is free. the computer codes should tell you what is causing the problem

change the coil and rotor inside the distributor and also the distributor module. also see if spark plugs and their cables need changing. good luck. tell me what type of oil to use for auto transmission in daewoo cielo 1996 DOHC engine

Daewoo cielo 1997 spluttering @ startup


Try to reset the IAC valve on the throttle body it has 4 wires t it .
procedure is as follows

turn ignition key on (don't start the engine), unplug the IAC valve, turn the key off, replug the IAC .Do this 3-4 times .Then start the engine while holding the pedal down at about 2000 rpm then let the rpm down slowly till idle. Sometimes the throttle requires cleaning then redo the reset.
