Just a thought. Can you take the wires off the switch and and touch the power and negative wires to the fan together ? Make sure your key is turned on and if the fan runs by doing that you know its the switch.
Do not touch anything else with the power wire or it will blow a fuse.
Only do this if you know what to do.

Where is relay switch located on 2010 LR2 LAND ROVER?

If the fan continuously runs while driving as well You should suspect the relay.

If the fan does not run while driving suspect a bad sensor.

There is an under hood fuse block as well as another in the back that may contain the relay you seek.

Dodge spirit troubleshooting

If it overheats while driving more than 25 miles an hour, the thermostat is bad. If it overheats while stuck in traffic only, either the fan motor or the temperature sensor/switch that controls the fan to operate is bad. This temperature sensor/switch is installed on the radiator. It screws into a threaded hole.

Cooling fan relay

If the fan runs all the time, even when the engine is first started up and cold, then you probably have a bad temperature sensor switch. When that sensor fails, it keeps the fan on all the time so the car will never overheat...Chris

97 Cavalier overheats when idling..fan not working..replaced thermostat and relay sensor..Fan works when straight wired.

You may have a bad relay. Have you tested it to see if it is working or have you changed it out with a new one?

Car overheats. didn'T THINK FAN WAS WORKING BUT WHEN YOU TURN ON THE AIR CONDITIONING THE FAN WORKS.

You will need to see if the fan operates when overheating, there are diffrent sensors for the cooling and ac cooling, the good thing is that the fan works, this would tell me it may be a bad coolant temp sensor or thermostat, you will need to let it run and as the gauge passes the middle point feel to see if both upper and lower rad hoses are hot, if only one is hot then you may have a bad thermostat, is they are both hot and fan doesnt turn on and car overheats then you should replace the coolant temp sensor, stat with these tests and see the result, hope this helps.

The galant will overheat if ac is not on

The temperature sensor for the radiator cooling fan is probably bad. When you turn the AC on, it overrides the sensor and the fan runs all the time while the AC compressor is engaged.
