Are you talking about the drain valve to the radiator? If you are wanting to drain the antifreeze from the radiator and engine,I always loosen the hose clamp on the bottom hose that goes to the radiator to drain,it comes out fast.Make sure your pets are not around when doing this,it is fatal to them if they drink.

Make sure the engine and cooling system is cold
remove the lower radiator pipe from the radiator leave the other end on the engine
this will allow it to drain
if you want to flush the system
with the lower pipe still disconnected remove the radiator cap and let the garden hose run through that way you can rinse the radiator and the blocks water jacket

There is a tool for these, any auto parts store will have them. About $5.00 Tell them you need a plastic radiator tank drain tool. You can also remove the lower radiator hose at the radiator end to drain the cooling system, that is what I have always done oh for about 25 years.

I am trying to drain the coolant on a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan (3.3L engine) My repair manual mentions a vent plug; however, I can't find it?

Look on the bottom of the radiator. You will see a tube surrounded by 2 small wings - you turn the small wings just like opening a water valve. Have a pan under it to catch up to 2 gallons. The valve may be a little tough to turn. You don't want to break it off, but may need to use a tool to turn it. Don't do this when the engine is hot.

Drain the radiator

There is a plastic valve on the driver side of the radiator ,but to find it you must remove black plastic guard/shield under the radiator which is held in by5 or 6 screws. the plastic valve can then be opened with a 1/4 " ratchet

If your talking about the headlamp, open your hood, look right behind the headlamp and you will see either two or three black funny looking nuts (I think they call them "wing nuts") turn them off while holding on the headlamp, then pull headlamp out slowly, unplug the headlight bulb, grab the back of the headlight bulb, turn and pull it out. (Put a plastic bag, like a sandwich bag over your hand). DO NOT touch the headlight bulb with your hands or you will burn out the bulb. These are very sensitive bulbs and DO NOT like the oils from your skin. Set it down somewhere very safe so it will not roll or touch anything greasy or oily. Next, unplug the parking light, turn and pull out. Replacement is reversal. Hope this helped!
