Check oil level add if necessary --if oil level good or high and if looks like chocolate syrup possible head gasket blown /damaged ---if oil good and level ok then would need oil presure tested for possible oil pump failure and clicking possible oil starved or moisture mix causing the lifters to make noise

That sounds like the egr valve, or egr solonoid.
(Exhaust gas recirculation). Have them checked, could be one or both bad.

If you live in the US, take it to qany Auto Zone store and thy will read the codes off for you, I would suspect any right thinking competitor would do the same, check if you don't have one near by.

Hello mike_potts07: My name is Roger and I will answer your question. The suggested miles to change your timing belt is 60,000 miles. This is manufacturers recommended service interval. Also this motor is an interference motor. What that means is if the timing belt breaks. The valves in the head will be hit by the pistons. This will bend all valves that are open at that time.
