2010 suzuki swift glx ez07 update. is the body control module in this model interchangeable between an automatic and manual transmission

welcome to USA forum.
is your car in USA, seems not, right? where are you on the planet earth, (not ur address) a COUNTRY , matters....
we dont know what trans or engine is in your car.
so how could we guess?
why not ask suzuki this complex question, it might only need reprogramming, as is so common now.

The BCM does not shift automatics, why are you looking in there.
the TCM does that, and is part of the PCM on all modern cars.

did you scan the PCM first. that be first
to see if the TCM portion is barfing out DTC errors for the 4speed.
auto. that be first after checking fuses and connectors to trans.
and AFT levels correct, not guessing method.

My 2004 Saturn ion 3 has 2 codes coming up u2105 p0700 an it won't go in drive or reverse what could it be

First off you need to understand your vehicle has several control modules on board . The PCM - engine computer , TCM - transmission control module , SRS - air bag module , Anti theft , antilock brakes , An these modules all are able to talk to each other on a communication network , On your vehicle it happens to be the CAN data bus !
The transmission control module (TCM) uses the controller area network (CAN) to signal the engine control module (ECM) that the TCM is requesting malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illumination. This happens when the TCM has determined that a failure that affects emissions has occurred in the transmission control system. When the ECM receives the correct message from the TCM, DTC P0700 will set.
Which transmission does your vehicle have ?
Automatic Transaxle AF23-5
OR
Automatic Transmission VT25-E
DTC U2105-U2199
The controller area network (CAN) serial data line is a high speed serial data bus used to communicate information between the engine control module (ECM), body control module (BCM), and the transmission control module (TCM). Typical data-transmission speeds must be high enough to ensure the required real-time response is maintained. The CAN serial data line does not communicate with the scan tool via the data link connector (DLC). CAN serial data information is interpreted by the BCM and transmitted to the serial data line by the BCM.
I suggest you take this to GM dealer or some other ASE certified repair shop .

The Service stability light on 2003 escalade comes and shuts down my vehicle. What does this mean and what will it cost to fix

Cluster warning lights

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS, TPMS, MIL, CEL and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Legend of Abbreviations. ABS Anti-lock brake system. TCS Traction control system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module. TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor System, MIL Malfunction Indicator Lamp, CEL Check Engine Light.

Where is the bcm on 2001 durrango

bcm? Don't you mean PCM or TCM?

Engine code? PO1698

No CCD messages from TCM or BCM(transmission control module or body control module). This most "likely" the TCM itself. Common Chrysler wiring and computer issues. What is the car doing? Or not doing?
