Question about GMC Cars & Trucks
2004 GMC Envoy SLT 4.2L what the resistance numbers should? be please help.
If you have a meter, select the amps reading and place each lead to each terminal. if you have a reading, its good, if you do not (open circuit), sensor bad.

That should be: select the OHMS range
Yes, meant to say ohms. Sorry
on my multimeter ohms range is 2000k. 200k. 20k. 2000. 200. which number do i set it on?
Try with your lowest setting and then look at your readings. Readings will be different based on manufacturer.
(2000k setting read 000) (200k setting read 00.5) (20k setting read 0.71) (2000 setting read 723) (200 setting read 1.) which setting do i go by?
Readings indicate that your part is working and may consider in other problem.
May want to check wiring and then for any codes
if the crankshaft position sensor is working do that mean the problem is between crank sensor and the PCM that causing no spark at the spark plugs or do i need to check the wiring from the crank sensor to the PCM? if the PCM receiving a signal from the crank sensor so do that mean the PCM not sending a signal to the coils? i hope i can get this problem solve soon with your help. the vehicle was running good until turn the engine off but it wouldn't start up again no spark the codes are P2101,P1516,P2119 these codes was read after the battry cable been disconnected these codes are staying in the PCM when i disconnect the battry cable i thought they would be erase when disconnect the cable? how do i check for RPM signal when cranking?
