Also when driving car. If I hit the gas to fast the traction control comes on and it shifts super hard. And won't stop until I shut car off open car door for 5 second or so. Then it resets itself. So many issues.

Are you using the original key that came with the car? The chip in that key may have gone bad. Try using the spare key that should have come with the purchase of the car. You may also be having battery issues. If all else fails....call the people who really know how to rape you...DUM Dum dummmmm....the dealer

SOURCE: The lights on my dash board flicker on and off then turn off.

I had the same problem some time ago, lights would go on and off, odometer appeared to stop counting at times rpm gauge would work and then not... power steering would off and on work and head lights would blink on and off when in driving light mode (off position).. The fix for me was I had to have the dash computer replaced (about $500). After doing this around 50k miles ago all the gremlins seem to have remained gone.. Hope this helps

SOURCE: 2006 Pontiac G6 electrical power steering problems

The electrical steering system on the vehicle had a common problem with early failure caused by a sensor in the steering column. The correction is replacement of the steering column.

#10183: Special Coverage Adjustment may apply to your vehicle if it has under 100,000 miles on it.

Lost power steering, then car wouldn't start

What is the condition of the serpentine belt? Is the belt free of oil or coolant? Is the belt tensioner working correctly? If the spring inside the belt tensioner becomes worn. It can not apply enough tension to the belt. Also if the tensioner is corroded it can become seized and cause the same problem. I hope this helps but if not please try to give more symptoms or details. Good luck.

2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Command start The car has factory command start. Worked fine last week but this week the car turns over, starts, than shuts off. No engine lights, plugged in my OBD reader and...

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.
