Question about Cars & Trucks

Open Question

I dropped my power switch on the floor , I guess I didn't have them in the proper order to make the right connection to the switch when I plugged it up. Is there a fuse on it?

Stairmaster Climber 4600 CL....The console seems to be powering up fine. We begin workout and after 5 or 6 'pumps/steps' per pedal it drops to the floor. Alternates left or right...no pattern.

Wrong site Dana. I do electronics, fix many things. But I would have to have your stair master to even begin. Since it alternates. Best guess it a bad plug. Next, bad solder joint. After that a bad chip on the PC board.

Where is the inertia switch on a 1990 f150 ford truck

Has to be in the cab

I would guess, along the floor near the side kick panels

Not likely at all, that it is open or a problem

Test at the relay socket for complete fuel system
electrical integrity

You not going to find a thing guessing

You need wiring diagrams, to first learn the system
& circuits, so you can do some voltage drop testing

Golf cart wiring

Its been a wile but if I remember right it goes from the solenoid under the cart (pass side) to the key switch (the other wire is probably volt meter) then micro switch,green wires from micro switch to controllern. Inspect all spade connections

Why doesn't the radio shut off even when key is removed and driver door is opened?

My Guess is that radio is not the original one. They didn't connect the right wire that goes to your ignition switch. (acc power on) Hope that helps.

After changing transmission and clutch in 91 Wrangler, clutch goes to floor. Tried bleeding line but didn't work.

The clutch should go to the floor =) But if it's not disengaging the clutch disk, there's definitely a problem between the pedal and the clutch disk. I'm guessing you have a hydraulic clutch?

Change plugs and wire and engine will not acclerate. This is a built 350 short block chevy with pro charger.

350 Chevy engine in what? 1990 Corvette? Who built it, did you?

Sounds as though you have plug wires wrong.
Firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2

Distributor Ignition System:
Distributor rotates Clockwise. (Rotor)
Find Number 1 tower on distributor cap, go Clockwise with Firing Order.

Distributorless Ignition System:
VIEWING the engine from the Front of the car.

Spark plug wire connections along the back, starting from Left side going to Right side;
2-3-7-4

Spark plug wire connection towards the Front of the engine;
6-1-5-8

(To guess I would say you have 5 and 7 wires switched)

Left side cylinder order is 1-3-5-7, going from front to back.
Drivers side is Left side.
Right side cylinder order is 2-4-6-8, going from front to back.

1996 neon the speedometer and the fuel gage do not work also the backup lights do not work help

I have a similar issue with my 1997 Neon. My fuel gauge works, but my speedometer only works when it feels like it (jumps and then drops to zero) and once my whole cluster didn't come on. I've found this (http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=118450) that I'm going to try when I get a soldering iron. Also I just discovered my reverse lights don't work either and it's not the bulbs, my best guess is the Neutral Safety Switch because I can start my car in drive and reverse.
