TIPM. Wiring or bad switch. Warranty should cover this.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You need to check the latch. There is a small lever that you can push to unlock and lock the hatch. Try pushing it over and see if that helps.

I did this to my car once. Be sure the latch isn't closed as you are trying to close the trunk. With the trunk open pop the trunk once, then see if the trunk latches properly.

How to fix My 2006 Chrysler 300 trunk...it will not close. It just happened and not sure if a latch or something is stuck.

My Buick did this and I shot WD40 on all the working parts and used a screw driver to make the latch work Mine was stuck in the open position. Now it works. Some times if you don't use the trunk often the latch will seize up . It's good to lubricate all the working parts once in a while. I do my doors as well at least once or twice a year.

I have a 2010 chrysler 300 making a ticking sound is that normal

And that sound is coming from where? Is it constant? In the cabin or under the hood or in the trunk? If it is in the trunk check for a bomb. Please keep in mind i can not hear the problem or see it so you need a better description or i can not be of help.

Trunk latch is in the locked position and i can,t close my trunk

The latch possibly needs flicking to the unlock position, press the button or operate the trunk handle as you flick the latch, it possibly hit something prior to hitting the keeper and put it in the lock position.

Use some better jumper cables, the antitheft most likely has took over, you will have to install a battery, and set alarm, then disarm it to regain control of the vehicle.

TRUNK WONT OPEN WITH TRUNK RELEASE BUTTON ON DASH OR WITH REMOTE

Check for broken wires running from the body to the trunk lid through the rubber boot. When the trunk is closing you can see the kink in the rubber boot. There are 11 wires to supply 1 solenoid so I think Chrysler knew there was problem.

2005 crossfire top wont go down

This can be caused by your trunk lid not being all the way shut .  But the most times this has happened to me the separator panel that lifts out toward you and latches to separate top from trunk space is not lifted into the latched position.. very frustrating till i figured it out.  Hope this helps helps.
