What make , model and year vehicle ? In most cases the switch is a low voltage input to the 4X4 control module . The control module then energizes the relay's !

ACwont work unless its jumped bypassing the ac relay sw, diagnostic test code 23 blend dr actuator failure,but all vents work


there are pressure switches in the system that stop power to the relay when the system has a failure
high pressure or low pressure switches for blockage in the TX valve or lost refrigerant gas, no fan operation on the condenser all will cut out the relay for the compressor
Best have the system checked by an accredited ac specialist shop first and get a quote

Kia sorento 2006. Power lock door cannot open car's doors. Only close them.


wire to drivers door broken main door switch on drivers side is there a car starter sometimes they cut into wire harness and the wire breaks you can take the drivers door panel off and check the switch if it works or jump the wires to door locks but some models have a bcm in the front fuse box in engine compartment and all the relays and functions pass through it such as rear defrost doesnt work well the relay is integrated in the bcm so to fix it you have to replace bcm module which is the fuse box so be careful that the doorlock feature is not integrated into the bcm

If relay worked when placed in another vehicle you must have a wiring problem. trace wires from fuse block to relay checking for corrosion or short.

Did you check the ASD relay ? It powers the pump relay and the ECM.

I can jump the solenoid, to turn car over but will not start


You seem to know what you are doing by jumping the Solenoid. Jumping the Solenoid tells me it would not crank with the Key and that can mean you also lost the power to the coil. You need to check the "Tickler" wire at the Solenoid for the cranking problem. You need to check for spark at the plugs for the NO start condition.

When you jump the Solenoid make sure the Ignition is in Run position. A bad Ignition switch or Ignition Relay can keep power from going through the Ignition. You may want to backtrack from the plugs if no spark, to see if the Coil is getting power.

If you have fire at the plugs check your Inertia switch if you do not hear the fuelpump. You will also need the Ignition switch to work for the fuelpump to go on. All problems can come from Ignition switch.

I HAVE A 93 S15 JIMMY 4X4. NO POWER TO 4X4 SWITCH


Try pulling the 5 amp fuse on the fuse box under the drivers side of dash that says tccm (transfer case control module) for 2 1/2 minutes, replace the fuse after 2 1/2 minutes then cycle the switch on and off without starting the engine 5 times. This resets the module.

When I turn the key the relay starts to click.


Ford loves that relay.. Jump the two big posts on the relay. the starter should crank. the little post is from your ignition switch. Jumping the two large terminal bypasses the relay. Make sure the vehicle is in neutral with the brake set.Once you know how to do that, try to key dtart in park, then neutral. If it won't do anything, Your neutral safety switch is defective.
If it will start in any gears, again bad neutral switch. Be careful and good luck. Use a jumper cable to jump the two posts. Anything smaller can get you shock or burned.

Try jumping the starter solenoid (between small terminal and the positive side) to see if it starts, if so replace selenoid; if not check to see if small wire is hot(someone will havfto hold the key in start position for you); not hot got broken or blown fuse some where.
