Dan has given you a good explanation. I'm not sure what else you need? The heater hoses should go to heater core, under the hood passenger side firewall.
I'm not sure picture is exact, but, should give you an idea of what it looks like. Just to add, it is winter time in my region, I wouldn't want to do w/o defrost, at least.

Why would you want to do that for ? You would have no heat ! Or is it because it is leaking inside the car ? It would be easy to do , get a piece of plastic pipe and stick heater hose's on either end , with hose clamps !

SOURCE: How do you bypass a heater core on the 2000 Chevy

Yes it can be done. look at your engine on it there will be two heater hoses coming from the engine to the heater, disconnect those two heater hoses at engine, with heater hose and two hose clamps, get the hose and clamp first at auto parts, install one end and the other end of same hose, where you disconnected the heater hoses from the engine, you have just by-pass the heater, hope this was very helpful.

Bypass the heater core in 94 Chevy cavalier

You need to take the two hoses off of the heater core. Remove one of the lines and hook the end of the other line that used to attach to the heater core to the fitting on the engine that the hose that was removed used to be attached to.

We're the shut off valve on heater core 2004 chevy

Keep looking - there isn't a shut-off valve for the heater core. Water flows through the all the time. The only time you get heat is when you set the controls for it and then cabin air is routed through the core. All other times it bypasses it. If you have a leaking heater core, in most cases you can remove the heater hoses at the firewall and using a hose adapter available at any hardware store with a couple clamps, you can make a bypass loop of the core until you can get it replaced. Of course you have no cabin heat until you repair or replace the core. It is not recommended to stub off the ends of the heater hoses because on some vehicles, that loop provides other cooling functions such as cylinder heads, etc. That is why looping it is the safer choice.

My car made a loud noise and then hot water and steam went on the floor. what could this be? should I bypass the heater core and how do I do it?

One could bypass the heater core by joining the two tubes inlet and outlet together with a U joint, but heater cores don't cost that much and after an aftermarket heater core is put in, they usually don't fail because of their all metal construction (vs. the plastic collars that break in the original equipment heater cores.).

Replacing a heater core

YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE DASH BOARD. IT WILL BE BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX. LOOK UNDERNEATH THE DASH AND YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE A PANEL TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE HEATER CORE. THE PANEL WILL BE ABOVE THE PASSENGERS FEET ON THE FIREWALL.
