You have to remove the glove box and the panel below the glove box, the resistor is located near the floor in the back of the glove box

Blower motor resistor location

Depending if you have lower back trouble. resistor is mounted in the blower housing case under dash on passenger side remove glove box in may be on top close to the center it has a 4 or 5 wire plug 2 screws hold it in. next location in on bottom that means lay on you back and place face under dash. same area.

Usually right next to the blower motor in the housing. It has 4 or 5 wires going in to it and has one or two bolts holing it in.

Where is the blower motor resistor on 2006 Mazda5

1. The
blower motor resistor is located in the upper front section of the Blower Fan
Air Box at the driver's side.

a. Identify/Locate: You will be able to see the upper screw that has a Hexagon shaped head and the wiring harness with blue wires.

b. Action: Find and Identify the Blower Motor Resistor, the
wiring harness plug, the Hexagon shaped top of the upper screw and the lower
Phillips head screw.

Where can i find the blower motor resistor on a 97 mazda protege?

I think any parts store can get it for you.

But if you asking for location of the component , then it's a different story.
All b/m resistors(any car) located around blower motor or in the air duct after blower motor, they need to be vented all the time , otherwise they overheat and blow. Wires from motor are going to resistor , so if you trace the wires you'll find resistor.
