A sealer is a stop gap measure used to sell the vehicle
stop gap measures work out to more expensive than a gasket job if you have to keep the car as to the best one to use , if you read forums on sealers you will see that it all comes down to price and preference
talk with your mechanic

I have an 85 hilux petrol 4wd it only has to last until xmas can i use any gasket sealer as well as replacing head gasket

IF you clean the head and block properly then the head gasket will have its own sealer in the gasket. The secret is to torque the head bolts down in the correct sequence . I do head tensions in 4 stages and this gives the gasket a chance to even out under the head

1998 cadillac has head gasket leak, need to repair with some kind of gasket repair or sealer kit.

Use Bars leak brand head gasket sealer. There are other good products out there as well, contact a local NAPA or Carquest for suggestions on what works best.

Leaky head gasket

Not that uncommon on those 2.5L engines. Thje permanent fix is to replace the head gasket. Be sure and check cylinder head and the engine block deck for straightness to ensure a good seal with the new head gasket.

Chev s10 1998 over heating water in oil can i do a quick fix with gasket sealer an still drive truck until i can afford to replace gaskets

Over the years I have seen quite a number of sealers advertised to repair gaskets etc. There are newer ones out that make the same claims (also expensive @ about $100). Though it is possible that they work, I have no idea for how long. As always, the best cure for a cylinder head gasket problem is still to actually do the repair.
Regardless of how you correct the problem, make certain that you drain the oil and filter or you will be looking at a bearing failure shortly.

My 1998 plymouth neon starts and everything but it has a rough idle. I noticed that i can smell burning coolant from the exhaust and my oil level has gone down. When I checked the spark plugs there was...

I'm very sorry. I hate to say it but i believe that you are correct and that you do have a blown head gasket. Repairs for this could get a little expensive. If you can't or don't want to cut your losses, then my suggestion would be to ask around to find a good mechanic locally and get estimates from more than one place to ensure your not being ripped off. Even if your a DIY, the worst case scenario if you attempted this could be a cracked head if its been like this for a while. It is kind of hard to tell without taking it all apart. So the best thing to do is get estimates and if it doesn't seem worth it then just cut your losses and find another reliable vehicle. Sorry again for the bad news.

I have a 2000 Plymouth Neon. I have oil in the

sounds like blown head gasket or possible cracked head. Only way to know for sure is either you pull the head, take to a machine shop have it serviced, they will replace any bad valves, resurface and pressure check it. If its cracked they will tell ya. The alternative is to pull the head, clean up really good and put a new gasket and reinstall the head. If it doesn't fix its cracked.

1998 Dodge Neon engine died when valves started knocking and car will not restart.

Check the engine for compression. Your head gasket may be shot. I have a 97 that had a similar problem, and we did the head gasket, car runs fine now. Prior to doing the gasket mine wouldn't start at all.

Do a compression test.

Tire pressure headlights are not clear

32 is the tire pressure for all 4 tires and no they headlights should very transparent. There is a film on the face that causes this. Instead of buying new lights (most mechanics will suggest this) go to auto parts store and buy a kit for restoring the headlights. In this kit there should be some sand paper, resin, cloths, and a clear coat sealer. I use these kits allt he time makes it look bran spanking new. Some of them even have a 10 year warranty on the finish.

Good luck
