You will have to loosen the striker and slide back, move back in small amounts until door is tight. also make sure its not something inside the door rattling before adjusting the striker.

2003 Ford Excursion, gas engine, fuel guage shows full all the time.

It sounds like the fuel level sensor is getting stuck at the "full" position. This sensor is located in the fuel tank and you or a mechanic will need to drain the tank, drop the tank, and replace the sensor. If you typically keep your tank at full it may be a good idea to use up most of your fuel before refilling. This will allow the sensor to get some "exercise" instead of always staying at or near the "full" position. This should help, if not, come back to FixYa for more help.

The rear window struts on my 2001 Ford Excursion need to be replaced. How do I do it?

If you look on the ends of the struts you will see little metal clips. Use a small screwdriver to slide them off, the the strut will pull right out.(almost fall out)

How to change the right front turn indicator bulb on 2004 excursion

1. Remove the front turn signal assembly mounting screws and slide the assembly forward, out of the vehicle body.

2.Twist the bulb socket a quarter turn counterclockwise, then remove the bulb assembly from the housing

3.The defective bulb can then be removed from the socket and replaced.

4. Installation of the front turn signal assembly is the reverse of removal.

You're going to have to try to slip a wire between the glass and the door and try to pull the lock open. Sometimes the police carry a slim jim that will slide down the door and pull the lock

Removing windshield wiper assembly ford excursion

Wiper Pivot Arm Removal and Installation
  1. Lift the windshield wiper pivot arm to the full upright position.
  1. Remove the windshield wiper pivot arm.
    1. Release the locking tab.
    1. Remove the windshield wiper pivot arm.
  1. NOTE: During installation, it is necessary to pull the locking tab out to its full open (unlatched) position and hold while assembling the pivot arm onto the mounting arm and pivot shaft. Align the key on the pivot arm head with the keyway on the shafts. This will make sure the pivot arm is correctly aligned. If necessary, the key can be removed. To adjust wiper pivot arms, refer to Wiper Blade and Pivot Arm Adjustment in this section.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
