There is a drain hole in the body of a water pump to let the water from a failed seal drain and not affect the bearings
the fix there is a new water pump
have a pressure test done on the cooling system and if the seal is the problem, it will leak more when the engine is running
have a compression test done to check for gasket or cracked head as I suspect that the water from a pump leak will not over heat an engine until the coolant level gets too low

SOURCE: floor behind driver seat is wet.

For sure there's a leak somewhere.
check if there's no damage or defects in the door rubbers, check if you can find another wet areas to help you find the leak.
There's a few holes in the floor covered with plastic caps, check if there some missing and if they're not damaged.

Did you install a new thermostat and make sure to bleed all the air out of the system when you replaced the radiator? If you didn't, or installed a Stant thermostat, replace it with a FACTORY OEM thermostat. Make sure the cooling system is bled by opening your radiator cap (WHILE THE CAR IS OFF AND COLD), starting the car and running the heater. Add coolant to the radiator as the engine heats up, until is at normal operating temperature AND starts spitting coolant back out.

Hope this helps,

Hi Ali,usually the first thing to check is the thermostat, could not be opening all the way, causing it not to circulate fast enough to keep engine cool, here's a guide on how to replace. Here's the part. Here's the gasket. And let's not forget the sealant, don't want it to leak. Here's some antifreeze. If your antifreeze is a different color than this kind, don't mix,ask for your color type if different, must use extended life antifreeze cause of the aluminum water pump, could melt and become deformed.

if you smell anti freeze you have a leak. an overheating condition is caused by a bad thermostat, a bad water pump, clogged coolant system or air trapped in the line. have the coolant system pressure checked to locate the leak. it is probably very small that's boiling away before you have a chance to see it. and this is why the system appears full.
