Re: locations of repair shop honda tech in mi please I...
It depends on what the repairs are that you want
if you want welded patches then nobody would be interested in that
however if you wanted the complete subframe replaced with a good unit from a wreckers /junk yard that was rear ended but the front was good
then panel shops would do that as it is replacing rusted parts with good parts
you would need to ring around and ask if they are interested in replacing the complete front end subframe with a good unit
consider junking the car and getting a unit with no rust
if the engine and drive line are still good then all you would want is a body shell and just swap over the units
or get a new car
a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

What you are asking for is a repair manual. Unfortunately, this information is copyrighted and you are not likely to find it just floating around the internet. However, alldatadiy.com is a very good source for service information for your Honda. For a small fee of around $27/year, you can have full access to all of the same professional service information for your car that I would use if you were to bring it to my shop for repair.
if you mean the component that controls the operation of the injector for cyl#3,it is located in the computer and is a none replaceable item unless the computer is sent out to a shop that specializes in computer repair as it is part of the electronic board in the computer.
A very common problem on these honda's between 1990 and 1992 .The problem is a faulty transmission computer .The location is under the passenger carpet .There are 2 computers there the one on the left is the engine computer the one on the right is the transmission computer this will be what you want to replace!
send me some tighter pictures , your location and the mileage.
I will be fair with you and tell you what I feel the should be done.
The oil pump pressure should be increased
The valve body gaskets replaced
Use dexron trans fluid ( Ford trans fluid has banana oil in it and is not reccommended on certain clutch composits. If motor oil, which contain certain additives, is put in a motorcycle it will cause severe clutch slippage and or grabbing.. So there you go. Give it some thought and I'll talk to my daughter who needs a vehicle that gets better mileage. Keep in mind that most shops buy their lubricants in bulk, sich as 55 gallon drums and as much as having a tanker fill a bulk tank on site. There are oils on the market that claim universal applicability and is much cheaper, It only makes sense that a shop that does any volume of trans work would go that route. Especially low buck shops.I doubt you have been spending all this time and money at a honda dealership. Right? So there you go. Three itemsand you can do all of them if you are mechanically inlined, Two of them if you are a logical person and only one as an amatuer tinkerer.
All the internal parts must be new so you can eliminate having to do any tear down or trans removal. Right?
Expansion valve is located passenger dash area , inside the evaporator housing. This is not a repair that can be easily done by a home "do it yourselfer".It requires evacuating the the air condition system of freon is the biggest obsticle doing at home.
