if you can't get anything out then you need to replace the heater core, but if you did, put it back together and get it warm and see if it helped, if not then take the car to a shop and see if they will give you a idea as to what you you need to do.

My cruise doesn't work in my 1998 Lincoln Navigator..How does a non mechanical person like me fix this?

Find a friend who is a mechanic. Remedying cruise control is not difficult, but you have to know what you are doing. Or drive it without cruise until it totally dies!

My 1998 navigator 4 wheel drive got stuck& now ac wont work

2 different electrical circut's that are unrelated. Ac on a 12 year old truck is bound to need some service. Take it to a trusted shop that is not hurting for work & ask them if anything is disconnected, ie: compressor power wire, high pressure switch...ect. Tell tale sign system is low on freon is the compressor keeps cycling on & off with a clicking sound or compressor does not come on at all.

Vibrating noise under 98 lincoln navigator

The only way to truly rule it out is by taking off the heat shield. I took the one off my truck, ratltling stopped. If its the heat shield it probably rattles more at idle when warm than any other time.
