Check hydraulic pressure. Just because you changed the pump two years ago doesn't mean it isn't bad again.

if you have quick disconnect couplings , make sure that the connection is screwed all the way up because if they aren't , the coupling as a s a stop valve and will not allow fluid to pass

You most likely have a defective hydraulic control valve, I would start the testing there.

Can't release the bucket on my 06 case 420 series 3 skidsteer. It works electronicly somehow.

You're going to have to find the wire that goes to that actuator and put power to it, possibly a bad fuse is causing this. We don't have to remove the bucket very often and this electric cylinder can get bound up with corrosion and pop the fuse. I just removed the electric cylinder from my skid loader that locks my system so I can release it manually. But then I don't know that there is a manual lever on your unit, mines an '86 vintage Toyota skidsteer that I built from 3 I had and rebuilt the 2J diesel engine. It works beautifully. I just love it. My only Case is a '72 Backhoe I rebuilt.

How to get the half shaft out

Halfshaft -sorry but the diagrams didn't paste into the fixya.com window, just the text. Also, this was for a 3.2L engine.
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of
    this section.
  2. Remove or disconnect the following:

    • Negative battery cable
    • Front wheel
    • Radiator skid plate
    • Transfer case skid plate
    • Brake calipers and mounting bracket
    • Brake rotor
    • Wheel speed sensor
    • Steering knuckle

  3. Support the axle housing with a jack. Unbolt the axle mounting bracket and
    remove the halfshaft/bracket assembly.
    To install:

  4. Install or connect the following:

    • Axle/bracket assembly. Tighten the bracket flange bolts to 85 ft. lbs. (116
      Nm) and the bracket mounting bolts to 112 ft. lbs. (152 Nm).
    • Steering knuckle
    • Wheel speed sensor
    • Brake rotor
    • Brake caliper and mounting bracket. Tighten the bracket bolts to 115 ft.
      lbs. (155 Nm).
    • Transfer case skid plate. Tighten the bolts to 27 ft. lbs. (37 Nm).
    • Radiator skid plate. Tighten the bolts to 58 ft. lbs. (78 Nm).
    • Front wheel
    • Negative battery cable

  5. Check the wheel alignment and adjust as necessary.
