if that is the case go google and type in --user manual for 2012 scenic dynamique-- and there are at least 5 sites that have a pdf version for down load
if the engine is turning over but does not fire up a common problem is the TDC sensor (top dead centre) otherwise known as the crankshart position sensor, these sensors get a build up or dirt and do not work properly making starting difficult.
hold the button in on the stalk for about 10 seconds while showing the service light this worked on my 55 scenic.doesnt always work on all models though.good luck.
save money take to a renault dealership and ask 4 a computer diagnostic test,that will find problem 4 u,sounds like yr alternator is at fault , not charging battery,hope this helps
