Mercedes Glk 350 passenger side leaks after going through car wash

I hope it is nothing more than needing a new door gasket.
However, if the car was ever involved in an accident that damaged the area where the door closes, there is a possibility it also needs more body work to seal tightly.
A good body shop should be able to help you.
God bless your efforts.,

92 Toronado headlight doors don't seem to stop when doors are closed.

I would check the headlamp door open and close relays first. One or both of them may be bad. It might be a bad headlamp door motor assembly as well. Is there anything blocking the doors from closing all the way? Have you tried closing and opening them manually? You can remove the rubber boot from the door motor knob and turn it by hand.

Left front door switches don't work

Try the switches while moving the door open and closed, it is starts to work and stops then you have a broken wire in the harness from the body to the door that runs through the rubber boot from the A pillar to the door frame.

My driver side door lock and window stopped working and time when i turn off engine i used to be able to listen to radio and close other windows that stopped also. this all happened at the same time

Hi, You most likely have a broken wire in the door jam area inside the rubber acordian boot. See the pleated boot aprox 2" in diameter near the hinges when you open the door? Well pull the boot back at one end and check the wiring inside of it. If you find the broken wiring (sometimes more than 1) you CAN repair them right there but expect it to break again. I usually remove the kick panel inside the truck and replace the broken wire all the way through the door jam area inside the door so the repair area is not in the constant bending area. Wire fatigue is what causes this problem from opening and closing the door. Check there first and let me know if you need more assistance as i can give you wire colors and fuse locations as long as you can test the areas with a test light. Good Luck , Scott

Every doors power windows will not work, I am thinking its a fuse or a relay because I do not understand how every door just stopped working. My wipers still work though as I read in a post how the fuse is...

The power windows do not use a fuse rather its hooked to a automatic reset circuit breaker, this is so it would reset after a fault, the first place to look which is the most common reason for all windows to stop working at once, open the driver door and look in the center of the door in the location of the hinges, you will see a rubber type boot that contains the wiring for the drivers door controls. you will need to slide boot back and check each wire, you will find a broken wire or two. this happens from opening and closing of the door and is common. good day.

Passenger window operates intermittingly. When it

The problem could be in the master window switch on the drivers door, or the window motor could be going out, but most likely the cause is a broken wire inside of the weather boot that runs between the door and the body of the vehicle, and the broken wire is making intermittent contact because the door is being opened and closed all the time, and sometimes the wire will touch and make the connection and that is why it only works sometimes.

Try this the next time that the window stops working, hold the window switch down in whatever direction that you want the window to go (up or down) and while holding the switch in that position open and close the drivers side door and move or wiggle around the weather boot that contains the wiring that is between the door and the body of the vehicle, and do the same for the passenger side door, if the window starts working while you are holding down the window switch and opening and closing the door or moving around the weather boot between the door and the body of the vehicle, then there is a broken wire or even wires that will need to be repaired.

The broken wire can be on either the passenger side, or most likely on the drivers side, and if you do find a broken wire or wires, then you should repair the wires by soldering them well and use the same gage wire if you need to lengthen the wire to repair it successfully, and do not use a wire connector if you want the repair to last.
