My Daewoo dont start when it is cold in the mornings. I replace the fuel pump and fuel filter. When the car is driven it is fine and start first time round. What can be the problem.

Hello, I would check your ect sensor, this is what controls the choke. If you can drive it down to auto zone or local napa, for free they will test it for free, this is a cheap fix. And yes I am sure that it what it is. Thanks mike from fixya.

Need to change the engine coolant temp sensor, Where is it and what are the steps to changing it.

Heed of engine temperature!!! (Wait for engine cooling).
The engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor is placed on back of cylinder head, towards clutch side. Disconnect the electrical cable plug and remove the fastening circlip. Remove the ECT sensor by pulling out from cylinder head. Extract also old "O-ring" sealing rubber. Install new ECT sensor with new "O-ring" sealing rubber.

Cdx 2.0 1999 Nubira heater control rotates but system is stuck on HOT

Remove the cover from around the heater controls. There will be four screws you must undo to remove the actual control section. Look behind the heater knob and you will see a cable covered in plastic, similar to a bike brake cable. The end of that needs to be firmly placed in the clear plastic holder behind the heater knob. You can use gaffa tape or similar to hold it in. You can then put everything back and the heater will now turn off.
