Question about Cars & Trucks
My 2006 Elantra makes diesel like noise, usually as we slow to stop, just as we stop, the sound stops also. Some days it happens more than others. Temperature seems to make no difference, nor do different oil and/or filter types. Turning on/off the air, nor moving the transmission into neutral natter, Because it only happens between 10 and 1 mph, I can't check it out while it is stopped. Any ideas?
Jack it up and put it on jack stands then start it up and put it in gear that way you can listen to where the noise is coming from, i think that it is probably the cv axles
