Question about Cars & Trucks
Hello well i will just assume you can't get the power to come on for the radio? well if you have wired any radios before it is all the same for the newer GMC and Chevy but one difference the new system does not have an ignition power wire it is all powered from the battery and is sent a signal to turn it on and off. The new Can Bus system, So you will have to locate in the fuse box a fuse that only has power when the ignition is on and run this to the red wire for the new radio and all the other wires even the yellow from the battery should be the same.
