Did you have this work done at a dealership or garage? Apparently, they agreed there was a problem because they charged you $1200 to fix it. Take it back to them and make them fix it or get a lawyer involved.
No one here is going to be able to tell you how to fix a P0300 code without doing a lot of troubleshooting.

SOURCE: 1999 Pontiac Firebird multiple misfire

It could be a clogged fuel filter, bad gas. Or if you have done alot of modifications to it, the injectors may not be able to keep up.

SOURCE: 1998 c1500 , code p300

Probably water in the gas..., although its not common.. ... this problem should cure itself with your next tank of gas.. its not likely to be anything else..is your check engine light on?? have you refilled the tank with gas yet?
Injector cleaner is ok, however they make a gasline product for up north to evaporate water out of the gas tank because the water will create ice or slush in the tank in cold weather..
Methyl Cloride is what I used to use in Canada, in the winter to evaporate water out of the tank.
And maybe you have a lot of water in the tank.... when you take off the fuel filter, you will be able to see water beading up (a clear gasline hose which does not come with your car) will tell you all sorts of stories about water and how clean your gas is (on the gas tank side of your filter)...

2011 mini convertible misfire. Started with P300 and P301. Changed engine coil for cylinder 1 and all four plugs. Same issue now with P300,P303 &P304. Thoughts as to what to tackle next?

Do the following take coil from cylinder 3 put in cylinder 1, take coil from 4 put in cylinder 2, put coil from cylinder 1 into cylinder 3, put coil from cylinder 2 into cylinder 4, reset computer, drive vehicle if you get codes for cylinder 1 and 2 replace coils

"I have a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder 4.0 V6... Had ECU replaced . Now is throwing a random misfire code P300... what are these code and can one cause the other? Help!"

code p300 refers to random/multiple misfires--misfire detected==causes--spark plugs--HT leads --injectors--ignition coils--low compression--wiring
If you are only now experiencing the problem after changing the ECU, I would suspect that wiring and connections to the new ECU may not have been fitted properly. There may be problems in the ECU CPU (chip) and it may be necessary to use a scanner to reset the CPU program to recognize the sensors of the vehicle correctly

My 2000 GMC Safari will misfire sometimes and when i stop at an intersection it will idle rough then runs ok What is the cause of this ?

p300, is a generic code for misfires. Could be any of the cylinders or all. When's the last time you had a tune up? Start with the cheap stuff, fuel filter, air filter, and clean the throttle body. If that doesn't clear it up, replace the plugs and wires.

My 2004 745li. Shakes while car runs and my codes are p1443 and p300. Somebody please tell me something

Your best to use Google & do your research on internet
for your vehicle description & put in OBD2 Code P1443

Forget the 300 that is just random misfires & most likely
on start up & you don't diagnose that one

Work on the P1443 it will be vehicle specific

What is a p0300 code

I found on line that the p300 coad is a random missfire in all cylinders and that the last number in a p300 code is the cylinder that is misfiring. Your p302 & p303 would be #2&3 cylinders.

Po300,301,302,161,306 code numbers, what are they.upon acceleration it is like gas is having problem being sent to engine

P300 is random multiple misfire,301 is cylinder 1 misfire. 302 is cylinder 2 misfire & 306 is cylinder 6 misfire. P161 is a bad heater circuit in oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 2. It is behind catalytic convertor. I would replace downstream oxygen sensor & clear codes. Run vehicle it may be all that is wrong.

Some things to check since it has sat so long.
Bad gas Fuel filter dirty injectors dirty throttle body
The p300 code is a multiple cylinder misfire code. It sounds to me from what you described, that you are having some type of fuel pressure issues.
