How to bypass immobiliser on Volkswagen 2.3i 1998 microbus

on the Vw microbuses

immobilizer may not be the cause of no start and ripping one out without know all th ewires ti disconnect gets you a whole lot more issues

flat key fob or chip battery
possible fuel pump or spark issue

can you hear the in tank electric fuel pump pumping as you crank

you can go old school and check if you have fuel to the injectors and spark to the plugs as you crank

if the engine check light is on the engine computer will have fault codes showing you the cause of the no start

Depends on so many things impossible to give good answer. Miles on engine--tires-driving style-alignment-brakes dragging, etc. For brand new google make and model and read reviews.

VW microbus 2.3 i rad fan relay were will i find it or the fuse and how would identify it

I don't know that microbus very well, but often there is a fuse box either in the engine compartment that contains fuses and relays, or inside under the driver's dash panel. Otherwise my best friend is Google on these questions. Peace.

I want to change timing belt for microbus 2.6 but i am not shore about the mark on the cam

We do not have micro bus here, but i can tell you that a timing component kit comes with a small book with marks and some directions, another way is to line engine up at top dead center and mark gears before removal, Note; all gears must be line up correctly or engine damage will occur. after you install the timing belt spin crank pulley 2 revolutions and all marks should line back up, if not then realign,

I have a wv microbus 2.3i 1998,it just went of while i'm at a speed of 120km/h since than it doesn't want to start.the coil is get current its not sparking, what might be the...

Dear Sir,
As you said coil is getting currant but not sparking further to spark plug , then check few things.

1 Check the connector is proper fitted on ignition coil.

2. No lose connection with pin of connector or pin should not be lose.

3. All pins are clean of connector and no rust is there.

4. Check High Tension cable (cablle black couler which run from ignition coil to spark plug) if found ok then try with new cable if it wont start.

5. It is problem with ignition coil replace it problem will solve.

Problem can solve at any step from 1 to 5 i did arrange all steps by easy to check and less expanses, final step will more expansive than earlier step.if any issue let me know. thanks
