Question about Opel Corsa
Common is air filter, spark plugs-failing dispack. and incorrect time setup. sometimes it can even be the ecu. as the ecu learns to cope with engine info and can adjust its own setting. using an ob2 devise you can reset them back to original settings, but its best to do a full service before doing this i e oil change spark plugs and air filter and fuel filter timing belt or chain depending on engine and water pump and replace belts. depending on the age of the engine it can improve mph by around 25% on old engines and upto 50% on newer engines.also if you have a/c on your engine this can use a lot of engine power, if the pump is faulty and not disengaged this will use more fuel. to check this take of the belt and turn by hand on the pump if its free and moves easy then its disengaged if its hard to move or makes a sound as turning its faulty and needs replacing.
