Question about Chrysler Cars & Trucks

Chrysler T&C 2008 - cold winter start issue that I think is electrical or computer related.

While it's turning over (a little erratic in this department as well), the interior lights (below dash, above, etc) go on and off and the icons in the dash are random as well, they'll go out, then a row of icons will light, others will join in and go off... this just keeps going for the 10 seconds I'm trying to start it. I'm guessing it's computer related.

Good guess. Me too. I would go after the TIPM. Fuse panel under the hood. It is the new BCM. Plus a bit more. Certain codes come up on this, I don't even diagnose. I replace it.

Indications are that it is battery related
have the battery load tested as cold weather is bad for battery performance

Testimonial: "Turned out to be a battery problem, it was only 11 months old and since I had my charging unit on it (50amp setting) I assumed it was another problem. The load test failed and it's working great now, of course it warmed up 20c, which helps too."

batteries have no guaranteed service life and that is why there is a warranty period
the charger in use should have an auto charging rate so that flat batteries are charge at a higher rate but the charge rate drops off as the battery reaches fully charged to a trickle charge for a fully charged battery
another point is , car manufacturers install the minimum cc rate battery to run the car so on replacing a battery the largest battery that will fit in the space should be installed as this has less effect on the battery performance if the engine doesn't start first time
glad that you fixed the rpoblem

My 2008 Chrysler aspen wont start but a "no fuse" error shows on the dash

Is the sound of the "sticking" a rapid clicking noise? If so you most likely need a new alternator but that is supposing your battery is already dead. If not it could be your ignition. Not the part you put your key in but the little box under your steering column the 1 with all the wires running to it. I'd chk the alt first because believe it or not with a bad 1 your electrical will go nuts.

Multiple issues

I doubt the issues are related, but you need to get the computer scanned for trouble codes first.
The codes may point you in the right direction to diagnose the problems.
It's possible the engine temp sensor is faulty which could cause both problems.

Car Surges then dies at a stop only in hot or warm weather

Think about what you just said. Only does this in times of higher temps out BUT never in winters cold. Doesn't that seem strange to you. Well I guess it does, huh. Anyway, know these systems helps. When engine is started, the temp sensor tells the computer it needs to place the engine to cold start mode. It does this and extra fuel is put into the cylinders to keep it running like a choke on the carbureted engines. But those you can turn the choke off or it does this automatically from the warmer engine. If in fact the temp sensor is not telling the computer it's warm enough to be taken out of cold start mode, it keeps dumping excessive fuel into the cylinders an flooding the engine causing it to surge and then die, because it's flooded. Therefore, the temperature sensor is faulty and needs replaced. Do that and drive on.

I have a 99 chrysler lhs ans it sometimes dont wanna start when its cold like its the fuel

you need to have the engine coolant switch checked, since the computer relies solely on sensors, the ect tells the computer how cold or hot it is so the computer will make it a rich or lean mixture to start the engine,if it tells the computer that it is 75 degrees the computer will lean the mixture like starting a car in the winter without a choke.
