Remove the plugs and check for a flooded cylinder. The fuel rail holds fuel pressure and when up to pressure a valve opens it to allow the excess volume to go back to the tank. If it's ruptured it won't allow proper pressure to develop to rn and could also allow fuel into the crank case by filling a cylinder and going past the rings. Check the oil level and for gas.

Buy the manual and this will show you how it is done. Given the amount of money you will be saving by doing the job yourself, this is a small cost.

Sounds like you have a bad Fuel Pump Relay and possibly a bad fuel pump.

Sometimes the Fuel pumps get week and and it just doesnt have enough to pull it through... Does it do it when the gas tank is full?

Believe its fuse 9 10 amp did you try jumping power to the pump?? check the ground

Hm. it's a Diesel. So, it uses glow plugs.
Diesel engines work on the principle of exploding diesel fuel vs. burning gasoline fuel.

If it is spitting and sputtering, there is a possible problem with the fuel that is in the tank.

You see, Diesel fuel, according to Wikipedia, changes its formula drastically from winter to summer to work best in winter or summer climates.

I would drain the Diesel out of the tank and replace with fresh Diesel from your local Diesel Fueling station.

If this doesn't work, then, you may have a sensor gone awry or a compression issue.
