Ignition control module or PCM problem or pick up coil ! The CCRM - constant control relay module just has control relays for the fuel pump , cooling fans , A/C clutch coil control , PCM power . Nothing that would make the coil fire continuosly . I would check out videos on youtube test ford ignition system's ScannerDanner gets his but kicked by an 88 150 EEC IV Ignition

Why wont my BMW 93 525 I wont start turn over but will not start

When you turn the key to the on position do you hear a buzz from the rear of the car for several seconds? If not possible bad fuel pump or relay or fuse. If you get the sound check the ignition coil for spark. Pull the coil wire and have someone crank the engine for you Observe if there is spark going to ground. You first need to know which system has failed.

I have a 93 tempo and it won't start. I've replaced the fuel punp, ignition switch and ignition cylinder. The check engine light doesn't even come on when I turn the key to the on position. Fuel pump...

With out doing any electrical test's , just off the top of my head , I'd say the CCRM - constant control relay module is the culprit ! This module houses the fuel pump relay , PCM relay , cooling fan relay an a couple others as well .It should be checked for battery voltage at a couple of place on the connector for the CCRM . An check the grounds as well . When you turn the ignition key to run it powers up the module , that should be checked for battery voltage also . The module is mounted to the driver side shock tower , in the engine compartment !

My car will not start it cranks but will not turn on. So far I have changed the crank sensor I also have no spark to coil packs or spark plugs Fuel pump does not turn on when I turn the key. What is the...

Begin by checking fuses. Ignition, efi, fuel pump fuses. When key turned to on, do the warning lights and gauges work? That verifies switch has power and is sending power out. With key on, the coil primary wire to coil packs should have voltage.

No spark and no gas? Fuel pump fuse good? I think I would use a test light or multimeter to check that fuel pump fuse terminal has power to it with key on. If that's good, pull connector off at fuel tank and check for a voltage signal on fuel pump wire when the engine is cranking-if good signal, fuel pump needs taken out for replacement or inspection. If no signal check that fuel pump relay has power to it. With key off, pull the relay and check that one terminal has power to it-the feed wire for the pump. If no power signal at all, check maxi fuses or fusible links for a failure.

94 taurus, new fuel pump and pcm fan fuel module. car will not start and not getting gas to front. if we put a jumper on wire's at pump car starts and runs great

In the front passenger side corner of the engine compartment is a black box called the CCRM. Your fuel pump relay is inside this box. There is a 30 amp fuse somewhere near the box on a yellow wire that goes to the box. Check the yellow wire at the CCRM connector for power. If no power, find the fuse and replace it. If it burns again, check the wiring at the inertia switch--I had a customer last week that had a short at the inertia switch that was blowing the fuse. If the fuse is good and there is power to the CCRM, try jumping the pump from the battery positive to the CCRM connector pink wire/black stripe. If this turns the pump on, replace the CCRM. If this doesn't turn on the pump, check the inertia switch and wiring to the pump, including the ground wire. Please let me know if you have questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

Replaced ICRM ??? The CCRM - the constant control relay module controls the cooling fans along with input from the PCM - engine computer . Engine coolant temp. sensor is a input to the PCM . Wiring diagram here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html

My 1998 ford mustang 3.8 had a failure of the ground wire at the battery. I installed a new end and tried to start the engine. The engine cranks but would not start. I parked it in this spot overnight so I...

You sure the ground wires all reconnected? Check for power at the inertia switch. If it has power, the pump may be bad. Power to the Inertia switch comes through the FP relay, from the fuse. The relay is in a box called the CCRM (constant control relay module) Power from the relay to the switch is Dark Green/ Yellow wire.lF that wire has no power in the crank mode, then I think the CCRM is bad. The CCRM is located behind the coolant reservoir on a bracket. The ground for the CCRM is right front of engine compartment G103, dont really have a picture to tell you where exactly to look. Thanks for the detailed story, a lot of people write " it wont run, whats wrong"

94 Ford Taurus seems to be vapor locking. It will Stall then start again after it sits for awhile. Does not do this if it's cold outside.

Not the fuel. . believe me check under the hood it actually has plenty of fuel. . I have a 1994 ford Taurus and have the same problem over and over only during the summer and has been in the shop many many times and guess what nothing is wrong according to the mechanics it shows no codes. . have now came to the conclusion that there is no spark not a fuel problem at all.. am in the process of changing out parts now til i find the right one not the plugs, wires, coil, ccrm, fixing to change the eec relay.. if not that isn't it either back to the parts store again.

Cooling fans will not turn on 1993 taurus sho

question...is the vehicle over heating and does it only do so at slow speeds or idle?

check your CCRM (constant control relay module) located on the radiator support

check for power on the black/orange wires and good ground on the black/light green

not uncommon for the CCRM to fail
