I own an 2006 Isuzu KB 300 LX doublecab. It is fitted with a manual gearbox. The vehicle has clocked 316000km. The gearlever has excessive travel, what do I need to do to correct this.

new plastic or rubber glider pads ...can be some work depending on acces to garage or bridge ....but worth the time and effort...first google the exact parts needed ...order them and then compare BEFORE taking car apart and if a good match start working !! PS you have garage manual ? very handy and worth the 25 Euro...

No reverse, clicking noise when in neutral and sometimes even goes forward when in neutral, is this worth fixing. 1996 olds achieva

if the car is in overall good condition, no rot or rust, decent cosmetic and everything else works i would say it is worth the investment, the achieva is a good little car.
transmission rebuilds are not as costly as replacing the whole car

I need to order a Timing chain replacement kit for a 2001 Sebring convertible 2.7

OK, but this isnt the place. The car may not be worth fixing. If its broken you have cylinder head damage, and you need to replace the water pump. Replace EVERYTHING when the engine is apart. Install this part also. http://fix27engine.com/

How do u put a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am 4silnder in 1993 Pontiac Grand Am V6?

Thanks for choosing FixYa Matt and welcome. The only way this is possible is if you change out the transmission and the engine compartment is the same. Everything has to hook up correctly. In order to do so, you would have a lot of modications that would run you at a high cost. It is possible, but a lot of work. Plus, you would have to get a transmission for the four cylinder. It won't fit a six cylinder. In order to make it work, you would need someone qualified. It isn't worth it considering the cost.

Hi, I just bought a RHD 1995 European Accord Sedan and I want it converted to LHD. Can you please tell me all the things I will need to replace in order to get it to work properly.

allmost everything

the dash the steering column the wiring harness the pedal brackets, the pedals very expensive to change it

you will probably need to change many things under the hood as well such as the steering linkage and steering rack, power steering lines and many other things

your looking at spending more than the car is worth

How do you replace the light bulb in the clock on a 2005 Mercury Monterey?

It's not as bad as it sounds if it like my 2004. The clock is accessed under the dask glove box/flipper compartment. You access it by lifting out the rubber tray/mat. That will expose a bolt/nut that holds the plastic shell in place. Take off the nut then gently pry out the tray, starting in the front and working along each side towards the back. The clock back is just underneath this. The bulb looks like a small hex bolt and is removed with a 6 mm socket (you don't need to remove the white plastic backing). Once you've done this, just put everything back in revers order. It took me 20 minutes all together. The hardest part was paying $13.75 for the tiniest lightbulb I've ever purchased. :-) This is a link that someone else posted which shows some pictures of what it all looks like. It's well worth the effort, especially since my wife is much happier now (and it's $47 cheaper than what the Mercury dealer quoted me to replace it). Good luck!

How do i change my breaks front breaks

Bcause here are a lot of details its best to buy a 20$ manual from an autoparts store that will walk you step by step through this for your specific car and for the price of the book it's worth it if you plan on keeping your car awhile. However, it is straight forward and really in my oppinion if you can change oil you can change most brakes. SAFETY FIRST block your tires and use car stands or blocks of wood so if something goes bead you still have all your body parts.
Once tires are off you will have to undo the caliper that holds your brakes pads on. Normally 2 bolts. If blessed they are a #10mm or other similar size hex. If not it might be a ?torque? (I call it a star bolt it looks like a starinside) head bolt. Once caliper is off you will have to push the cylinder back in on it. THere is a tool designed for this and makes the job simpler. Hint-buy quality tools in most cases they are worth it most have a LLT warranty and won't break as easy. (caftsman/stanley). When pushing cylinder back make sure resivoir cap is loose so fluid goes bac easily. Check rotors most likely they will need replaced. They usually just get pulled off or use a plastic mallet. put all new stuff on in reverse order. Double check everything to make sure its tight and cap is tight. Tobe more detailed I'd have to write atleast 3x this. So i highly suggest a book (worth the money) or a friend to walk you through this. I've been working on cars for almost 20 years so for what its worth with a little desire, the right tools and the manuel you can do this.

I need a wiring diagram for an audi a6 towbar electrics, can anyone help? please email cantcatchme@btinternet.com

The best solution is to use a Vehicle Specific Wiring Kit, as these cars have complex electronics that do not like being overloaded, Also the car has towing specific safety systems (such at Trailer Stability Program) which only work if it knows it is towing. The car will need to be coded to recognise the towbar wiring and work the saftey systems properly after the kit has been installed. It's not cheap however, Expect to pay around £200-£250 for the whole job.

Air cndition 2005 corolla

Hi. In order to find the leak, technicians use a device to find freon gas leaks throughout the system, I really don't know the price of the device, but it really works. And depending on where they find the leak ( hose, elbows, screws, assemblies, pump, etc.) they repair. It could range from $200-$800 or more on repairs. If you can find the device and buy it, it's really worth it, and you can do it yoourself because it's not difficult at all. Just make sure when you replace everything, Put one can of R134a gas with lube, so you can lubricate the parts, and the rest with normal R134a.
