I would avoid alcohol altogether if I had that surgery. I really love wine, but I would give it up. If you are in good shape and are not prone to diabetes, your prognosis might be very good, but I would try to maintain a diet similar to a diabetic to assure the best possible results.

Hi there I have a 1976 Chevy C20 pickup and I was wondering could low or to much fluid in the transmission make it hard or impossible to shift while its running it is a munci 4speed sm465

the level of oil in a manual transmission has little bearing in the shift operation of the transmission as all it does is lubricate the working parts
excessive oil will overload the input shaft seal and may cause oil getting to the clutch plate or leaking out of the drive shaft seal
However the quality of oil used will have a bearing on the shifting of the gears
If the oil is too heavy ( viscosity above 80 oep) it affects the ability of the synchro mechanisms to work especially in fast shifting requirements
if it is too low ( 30 or less) it affects the wear or the gears and bearings and again will not have the shear strength to allow the synchros to engage properly with out causing excessive wear
From your question and problem description, I suspect that the problem is not in the transmission or oil level but in the clutch operation
If the clutch plate is not properly disengaging, the engine revolutions will not allow the synchros of the gears to operate properly and make shifting near impossible
so check the oil used and the level and fill to the level specified by the manufacturer
check and adjust the clutch for correct operation as there may be a problem in the slave cylinder/ master cylinder / cable operation that is not allowing complete disengagement of the cluch

Window switches inoperable - all other electronics are fine.

May have to replace the switches if they were wet for too long, or soak the switches in alcohol then place on a register for a week or so, imho

How to keep my heated seats from turning themselves on?

Check the switched to see if there is dirt in or around them. Sometime, through use, you can get a buildup of dirt and the switch stays activated. I sometimes use a 90% isopropyl alcohol to clean, but be careful, some plastics can be affected.

Does the transmission linkage cable affect the forward gear(s) operation?

That is kind-of like asking if wearing shoes can affect your foot operation. It depends a lot on how you define "affect" and what kind of "affecting" you are talking about.

My steering wheel has alot of play in it and I wondered if taking off the dash to fix a blower motor problem could have affected this.

It could. If it is really significant, most likely. Take it back to the shop that did the work and explain your situation. Any respectable business guarentees their work and listens to a customer.

I have a 94 oldsmobile cutlass supreme it has a miss but i change plus wires fuel ign,

what you may have are clogged fuel injectors, simple to clear up. add lucas fuel injector cleaner to your fuel tank. suspect bad fuel? water in fuel? 1 bottle of clear rubbing alcohol added to your gas tank should clear up to 1 gallon of water in your fuel tank. the alcohol will not affect your engine at all. it will only dry the water up that may be mixed in your fuel,be prepared for this as gas prices will continue to rise .hope this helps.thank you for choosing

Power lock is really weak. I have to press the button about 4 times before all doors lock or unlock.

this is a common problem on Honda, you will need to replace the electric power lock motors inside the affected doors.
