fuel pressure regulator location is back behind the intake off to the passengers side, nothing to remove to replace it, just find the red vacuum line that leads right to the reg.

Location of fuel regulator on f250 v10 6.8 motor

What year is the truck ? Probably doesn't have one . If it has electronic returnless fuel system , it would have a FPDM - fuel pump driver module .

Ford f250 v10 4x4 1999 superduty.replaced the fuel pump filte still no start. I am not real familiar witit v10 and would like some info if available please and thank u

What kind of info . ? It's no different then any other engine , needs spark , fuel an compression to run ! Pull a plug wire an hold near ground (metal on engine ) Does it spark ? If it does , spray some carburetor cleaner in the engine through the throttle plate ,does it try to start ? If no check fuel pump electrical circuit . Plenty of videos on you tube , trouble shooting cranks no start conditions ! How to test fuel pressure , checking spark .

Ford 2001 f250 v10, ran out of gas, filled tank and still won't start

check for fuel pressure at fuel rail if no pressure or low pressure check and change fuel filter while ya have it off or it could be relay switch that would be the least expensive place to start good luck

2002 f250 v10 engine quits after warm up at idle only

DTC = P0720
footnote b = MIL (malfunction indicator light) comes on after 2nd occurance
footnote c = tranny control indicator light (TCIL) flashes
circuit = OSS = output shaft speed sensor in the tranny (not the variable speed sensor (VSS) in the diff).
condition = OSS sensor circuit malfunction
probable causes = Short/open circuit, sensor, PCM

My guess? Replacing the OSS will take care of it. smile.gif I hope you don't have a faulty PCM. frown.gif
