Unless you bought a 'universal' column it should plug in. It will NOT plug into the fuse panel, but the stock wiring harness for the turn signal switch itself.

Now if you don't have the stock plugin then you're going to have to come up with one. If you're 'starting from scratch' on the wiring then perhaps Painless or some other company has a kit for your car.

I would think the column should have come with some sort of instructions. If it didn't then give them a call. (517) 424-0577 Retrofit Series

Right low beam headlight does not come on but my right turn signal will stay even tho i diddnt turn it on. If I cut on my high beams the rurn signal cuts off. Whats wrong? Helo

It could be the lamp control module !
Headlamps
Battery positive voltage (B+) is applied at all times to the lamp control module (LCM) through the underhood fuse block HDLP fuse.
When you place the headlamp switch in the HEAD position, the headlamps input to the LCM is grounded. The LCM then applies battery positive voltage (B+) through the underhood fuse block HDLOBML fuse and HDLOBMR fuse, which feed the left low beam headlamp and the right low beam headlamp respectively. When you activate the headlamp dimmer switch by pulling on the multifunction lever until the switch clicks, the high beam input circuit to the LCM in grounded . The LCM then removes battery positive voltage (B+) from the low beam headlamps and supplies battery positive voltage (B+) through the underhood fuse block HDHIBML fuse and HDHIBMR fuse, which feed the left high beam headlamp and the right high beam headlamp respectively.
Check this fuse in the left under hood fuse box first. HDLOBMR Fuse 18 10 Amp. RH Low Beam Headlamp . If the fuse is good check for B+ voltage with the low beams on . Use a test light or volt meter . If you look on top of fuse there are two metal tabs ,check there for B+ voltage , If no B+ voltage the LCM - lamp control module isn't supplying any .

The switch itself is in the steering column. It sounds like you may have a short in the wires in the steering column itself. The Flasher is in the Fuse Box. Check your Owners manual for location of Fusebox. It will also tell you which item in the fuse box is the flasher. But I do not believe your problem is in the flasher or fuse box. It sounds like a wire has worn through the plastic coating and is touching another wire or ground in the steering column. Be very careful if you plan to fix this yourself. It is very easy to accidentally release the Air Bag when you remove it. A qualified Technician should do that for you.

Backup lights remain on I want to replace switch, where do I find it? 1964 chevelle floor shift with automatic power glide transmition

If I remember correctly, the reverse switch on those is part of the neutral safety switch. If you have a column shift it will be on the column below the dashboard. If it's a floor shift, it will be on the shift assembly inside the console.

Where is the flasher fuse ( I need to replace) in a 1994 jeep grand cherokee? thank you

It's located to the left of the stering column, right above the fuse box. This is the turn signal flasher.
If you are talking about the emergency flasher then It's located to the left of the steering wheel column, behind molded panel.

Right rear signal works but the left does not. Changed bulbs twice and still have problem

Look inside under the steering wheel to the left, remove the lower steering column cover and knee pad panel to see junction box. The each fuse and relay will be marked for the right turn signal and the left turn signal. Look for a blown fuse on the left side. If not then the relay will be at fault. Before you start look to see if either turn signal lights are working on the left side. If the front is working and the rear is not then it will ba a short in the wiring to the rear causing the problem. Hope this will help you.

There is a fuse box located on the passenger side-but no diagram.not sure what these fuses are for. cadillac deville 1989

The turn signal flasher is located under the dash to the right of the steering column on most models. The hazard flasher is under the dash, to the left of the steering column. On 1980 and later models, both the turn signal flasher and the hazard flasher are located at the lower left hand and the upper right hand corners of the fuse block respectively. There is an inline fuse for the underhood/spotlamp circuit. The fuse box is marked to indicate fuse size and the circuit(s) protected.

Where is the flasher indicator unit located in a 1996 cutlass ciera

I just replaced the turn signal flasher today in my 1996 Olds Ciera. It was not near the steering column. It's actually behind the fuse box in the glove box but the easiest way to get to it is to remove the ashtray/cigarette lighter and it's harness and reach back to the right behind the fuse box. It took all of 10 minutes to replace. This is not the same as the hazard flasher, just the turn signal one.

LEFT TRAILER TURN SIGNAL DOES NOT WORK

I have seen once before that the fuse box was bad on a 2003 Dodge 3500. I had power in and nothing out. We had to replace the box. Not cheap! Hope it is simple like a loose connection though. I think I had to pull the inner fender on the drivers side to access the bottom of the fuse box. Pain in the ****, but...

LEFT TRAILER TURN SIGNAL DOES NOT WORK

I'd get a 12vdc test light if you don't have one already & start from plug, and keep probing back from there. It may be as simple as a bad connection under truck where joined into harness.
