2000 GMC Yukon air conditioner how to replace and what do I need to do

How have you deemed that it is a faulty "air conditioner", and not an AC system that is just low or depleted of Freon and needs recharged? If it is truly a bad AC motor/pump, we are talking about recovering the Freon from the system, which is complicated and requires training in its own, and then replacing the physical part, and then recharging the system accurately and properly.
Typically something better left to trained professionals and not made for the DIY home mechanic.

On my 2001 gmc yukon what is the rear expansion valve and where is it located

The expansion valve regulates the amount of freon entering the rear evaporator. It is directly connected to the evaporator inlet tubing and has a temperature sense bulb attached to a fin of the evaporator.

Where is ac orfice on 2005 yukon ?

Most GM products have the o-tube located inside the evap metal line where the high side hose connects. Evacuate the freon, then disconnect the high side line. Look in the metal line coming out of the evaporator and there it is. These can require that you carefully screw a screw into the plastic part then use vise grips to remove. Usually, these are replaced along with the filter/dryer when recharging the system.

I don't know anything about AC on 1999 Yukon. There is a hiss from black plastic screw cap right center top of engine and when I unscrew it the hissing increases dramatically. Do I need to replace that...

Hi this part you are going on about does it look like a trye valve if it does then this is where they fill the freon gas up.
It might have a cap on the top but under neath is a valve should be the same as a tyre valve if this valve is leaking then this will need replacing first they are not expensive to replace but its not worth getting filled up unless you have this part replaced.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Where is the recharge valve,to add freon on a ford escape 2002

should be located on the left side of the engine. You should see what I refer to as an AC dryer. There should be a place for adding freon.
