Idle should be controlled by the idle air motor, but vacuum leaks can have an effect too. Are you sure you got the correct temp sensor? New parts can be bad, as well. Shop manuals often have a chart of the resistance at different temps.

97 mazda b2300 air compesser clulch not kickin on but cool air works not on max work cool on a/c

coolant temp rising indicates a faulty viscous fan hub
if turning the ac on cools it a bit that is because the ac fan for the condenser is moving air through the radiator and assisting the engine fan

if the sensor is located in the plastic jug take a small hammer and tap near the sensor gently most of the time there is a small airbubble trapped nera the sensor and it trips the sensor try that first

Temperature gauge doesnt move in my madza b2300. What could this be?

First check the wire to the temperature sensor. It may have come unplugged. If it is still connected, check the wire with a light tester for power to the temp. sensor. If it has power to the sensor check the other wire while it is connected to the sensor. It should light up the test light(must have the key turned on) on both wires. If it only lights one, change the temperature sensor. If current is present in both wires, you either have a short in the wire back to your gauge or if power is present at the terminal on the guage, you have a faulty temperature gauge.

check the fuel filter or a possible leak in the fuel line or vacuum lines.your exhaust could be clogged causing too much back pressure
