I hit the back of the blower on a post and it immediately shut off. It won't start now. There is a white rubber tube capped and no longer attached to anything.

Problems opening the gas cap for removal when gassing up my 2004 Buick Rendezvous. Just bought a new cap and same problem, won't open

If the cap is hard to remove, this is a common problem with older GMs. The mating surface at the end of the filler tube becomes slightly corroded and is sticking to the rubber seal on the cap. Plug the filler tube with a rag (to avoid any explosive hazard), clean the mating surface with lacquer thinner, gently buff it with crocus cloth and try that. If it still sticks, lubricate the cap rubber seal with a thin coat of a lubricant (ONLY one approved for rubber/plastic materials).

Where do I find the coil and lead in the engine please

some engines no longer a distributor , they have a coil mounted on each spark plug. If it has a distributor, trace the ht cable from the plug back to the distributor cap. the cable on center tower of the cap goes to the coil. please note some engines have the coil mounted in side the cap and have no external cable.

Subru impreza gas cap won't open

Well, first maybe try pushing in on the cap while twisting it counter clock-wise. You may, if that doesn't work, just hit it with a rubber mallet. Simply break it apart and get a new one. They aren't very expensive.

2000 Ford Expy front A/C blower wont work on any speed. Compressor engages but blower won't work. Fuses are all good. Jumped wires from the battery to blower motor and it worked so I assume blower...

Hello, The problem should be the Blower motor Resistor. If you follow the power line from the blower across the center of the Firewall, you will come to a connector. The part the connector is attached to is the Blower motor resistor. It has 2 screws attaching it to the Firewall.

You can try to tap on the connector with a screwdriver handle and sometimes the part will start working again. If it does not work, you will need a new part. One thing that is convenient, is that if you unplug the connector and attach it to your new part, the Blower should start working immediately before you remove the old part. If the Blower does not work, the Resistor is not your problem.

Some of the engines have a heater line emerging from the rear of the Intake area. You should disconnect the line from the engine preferably when the engine is cold, and the majority of your antifreeze will stay in the engine. Have all the screws and connector loose, and just place the new part in the Firewall cavity while you reattach the water line. If you hold the water line and switch the Resistor one-handed, you will not lose antifreeze. Then clamp your hose and attach the screws and connector on the Resistor afterwards.

I hope my solution is very helpful to you.

I have a rubber bleeder tube hanging from forward transfer case.

If its about 1/4" inside diameter and a soft hose that attaches to the differential or axle tube, it's the vent for the diff. It is usually tucked up against the firewall near the master cylinder and is supposed to have a small vent cap (small but open shield) on it. Just tuck it back up there and secure it with a tie wrap so it doesn't drag and it will be fine.

Coolant spilling through the top of the radiator, just replaced a thermostat, there are no obvious leaks, what could be the problem?

Is the coolant coming out of the overflow tube, or is it bypassing the cap itself? How long did it take for coolant to come out, did it get warmed up completely, or did it do it immediately after starting? My first guess would be that the cap either isn't on all the way or the rubber gasket got torn or folded over or something like that. Check the cap for damage.

I hit a puddle and now my truck won't run

Use a heat gun to dry off all ignition components. If that doesn't do it, start looking into a partially "Hydro Locked" Engine.
