On 1995 toyota 4runner 3.0 3vze v6 what should the sparkplug wires resistance read when wires are working normal

The resistance of carbon core plug wires should be approximately 1000ohms/ per inch of wire. For example a 12" wire would be 12k ohms.

Trunk doesn't stay open

Do you mean that it falls down on its iown weight???

In that case (and it happened to me in my 2002 Stratus) the extending gas charged "springs" or struts, leaked gas and were incapable of supporting the lid's weight. This is common. (Chrysler used less than a best-quality parts supplier!).

I got the replacement parts (two pieces) at Autozone at a discounted Price, and even bought the ones intended for the sport versi?n that has a spolier on the rear deck, that weights more, because of it, those are stronger (but it could be that in your case it could get the lida little too hard to close, it depends on your stature and weight !, for me the stronger ones are no problem and will endure longer. Replacement is so easy that anyone can do it, or kindly ask your friendly Autozone dealer to please install them, it takes less than a minute per side. Amclaussen.

Vibrating at 50 mph

Hi,
It's likely a tire balance issue. One of the wheel weights may have fallen off. You could try swapping the tires front and rear to see if the issue goes away, or take the tires back to where you last bought them and see if they'll rebalance for free.

Also, if you ever drive thru mud, the mud could have dried to the inside of the wheel causing an imbalance.

Where does the 4 oil seals and ten o rings go in the valve cover of a 2006 Suzuki Forenza

Make sure that you got the right valve cover gasket set. The 8 o'rings that goes inside the cover where the bolts goes thru, use grease to keep then in place and the seals go inside the cover, look carefully you will see, but be careful to remove them because the cover brakes easily. You have to bent the little metal tab that holds the seal in place and pry the seal out with a bent screw driver or a small pry bar or a seal remover that you can buy from harbor freight . Press the new ones with a socket with the same diameter of the seal. Make sure to keep a piece of wood under the cover to give a perfect base support so the cover does not brake. Observe the correct position of the seal. Also don't forget to put grey silicone at the corners of the rubber gasket, where the cam cap join with the cylinder head, so it does not leak oil. Pay attention when you take it apart you will see some silicone residual. Good luck.

Front Prop shaft bearing on freelander needs replacing again. Why?

Prop shafts are actually balanced, if the balance weight has fallen off it will keep damaging the bearing, check for a balance weight, it is like a flat piece of metal stuck to the prop, there may be more than one.

Hit big puddle, drove home now won't start.

Either there is condensation in your distributor cap or you have got water in the plug holes. Remove the plug leads and using a cloth clear the lose water, a hair dryer will evaporate the rest. If it is in the distributo cap, take it off by removing the screws or clips and dry it out, as well as the inside of the distributor. Spray it with silicone oil to keep it water proof.

How do i change the thermastat in a 1991 ford explorer. i hope i dont need a new radiator??

locate the hose that goes to the top of the radiator that hose leads to the thermostat, remove the hose, at the engine there is a water neck be careful as it is rather old and may have rust and is prone to break, remove the 2 screws that hold it in place, remove the water neck (thermostat housing) and remove the old termostat, scrap the housing and engine block from old gasket and silicone, add silicone to the housing and place thermostat in housing in circular ridge then place the gasket over the thermostat apply more silicon over the gasket and spread evenly, allow the silicone to set for a couple of mins and then put the housing back with the engine then connect the hose back and your all set; remember the thermostat part that goes into the engine should be the part with the spring, hope that helps

97 Sentra wipers won't wipe

they have grooves that are supposed to keep them in there. If not, you can place a little bit of silicone type glue to the grooved shaft. If it has no grooves, the only solution is to replace the motor with a known good one. If the wipers freeze during cold winters, some people don't wait to defrost the windshield, they turn on the wipers as soon as they turn on the car. this will cause damage to the wiper motor and or the wipers.doing this enough times the small grooves on the motor shaft will wear down.
