hi .. if you mean bonnet badge and not grill badge .. I'm more than 90% certain it is fixed with a self adhesive pad on the back of the badge as I've never seen holes in the bonnet for the badge, have a careful look around the edge of the badge for signs of the adhesive pad.

there is a SWB model Short Wheel Base, the only reference to WSM is the town of Weston Super Mare who do have a large Merc dealership so they may put there own badge on the vehicles they retail

The inertia switch is located behind the passenger side kick panel on the F-150, F-250, Expedition, Navigator and 1999-00 F-Super Duty models. On 1997-98 F-250HD, F-350 and F-Super Duty models, the switch is located behind the driver's side kick panel.

That sounds like hard work? Back along I fitted classic struts to mine. how about modifying escort struts and arms, otherwise triumph spitfire bits are available and they make ford hubs for the kit car market, the spit caliper brackets are sperate to the uprights so might be less to machine. I think the MK1 escort uses the same wheel bearings as an Anglia so the hubs and disks will go straight on.
